To whom it may concern, On 5/25/22, we purchased 6 tickets for an event at Patio Nightclub in Raleigh, NC. It was a Dominican Mother's day present for a family member. On Thursday, 3/6 people from our party started running a fever. On Friday morning 4/6 were not feeling well, they decided to do a home test for covid and 3 came back positive. One person had to go to an urgent-care clinic and that person tested positive for the flu. As soon as we had a chance we contacted the organizer, who was not very helpful in helping us cancel our ticket reservations. In turn, they directed us to **********, which is the company used to purchase the ticket reservation. We submitted a request to cancel our reservation on Friday, many hours before the event would start, and kept checking for confirmation but it said the request was pending, until Tuesday, when we finally got a notification that the request was denied. We immediately re-summited a claim for a refund. This time explaining why we had not been able to attend the event and offered to provide proof of illness but once again it was denied. ********** told us to once again reach out to Patio Nightclub and solve the issue with them. We have tried in good faith to resolve this issue with both Patio and ********** and they continue to give us the runaround. Aside from having to deal with family being ill, we are now having to deal with this situation. We we were talking about $100 it would not be a great deal but $490 is not easy to come by these days. We want to get a full refund, we followed what the club told us to do in a timely manner but they are refusing to work with us. We ask for your help in solving his issue. Attached you will find the receipt of the reservation along with the urgent care visit and a couple of the covid rapid test results. We thank you in advance for your help and time in helping us resolve this issue. Issue that has added unnecessary stress to our family.
