I requested an evaluation/inspection of attic noises from the company. On 4/11/2022 a representative came out to perform the inspection for which I paid $100. His recommendation, that I formally received on 5/3 is attached. On 4/18 prior to formal quote, I received an email that stated that "exclusion" services would cost $800 minus the $100 I had already paid for a total of $700. I replied "Let's do this". I heard nothing until I called then on 6/30 and was informed that they had scheduled me for 4/28 but because I had not responded to their email on 4/27 and had not paid the $700 the appt was cancelled. So what is the issue? I requested to be put back on the schedule b/c I had not seen those emails until 6/30 while on a call with Sustainable Pest. I was told that their quotes were only valid for 30 days and I would incur another $100 inspection. I became indignant and informed the rep that none of their communications, during nor after the initial inspection, stated that quotes were only valid for 30 days. I did not have a problem with the second inspection fee, I had an issue with the fact that my first inspection fee was lost and would not be credited. The rep told me that additional damages could have been done between then and now. I said that I understood that, but my issue was that either I should not be charged a fee for an additional inspection, or in the alternative, both fees would be credited on doing the work since there is no mention of the 30 quote exclusion in ANY of their communications.
