Hello, I hired Feel the Sound with Music in Motion for an equipment rental for 10/10/2021. On 10/8/2021, Feel the Sound with Music in Motion canceled the equipment rental because of a backorder of the "cold packs" and a shortage of dry ice due to the pandemic. I was informed on 10/8/2021, via email, that I will receive a full refund of $420 sent via check to my home address. I consistently called and emailed Feel the Sound with Music in Motion asking about my refund check. I would keep getting a "beat around the bush" answer. Finally, on 12/16/2021, I received an email from Feel the Sound with Music in Motion asking if they can keep the check. I made it very clear that they cannot keep the refund check. I emailed Feel the Sound with Music in Motion on 12/20/2021 giving them till 1/15/2022, 15 business days, to send me my refund check. It is currently 1/12/2022 and I still haven't received my check. When I talked to Feel the Sound with Music in Motion they acted surprised that I haven't received my check. I even offered to go pick up my check from the office. They refused my offer. At this point, it has been 3 months and I believe it is very unlikely that I will receive my check. I want my refund check! I have records of all the conversations we had, via email. I do not mind forwarding the emails. I would be very appreciative if BBB helped me with this issue.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/20) */ Contact Name and Title: ****************** Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: *************************** ***** ****** currently of Elite DJ Solutions as stated in his provided altered email documents is a disgruntled employee (employment application submitted w/SS# blocked) who used to work for my company as wedding Disc Jockey (DJ) and Mr. ****** is upset that he has recently been terminated a 2nd time for insubordination. This complaint is not valid but rather a former employee who has resentment with another employee of the Company, Mr. ********* also included in his complaint because Mr. ****** believes that Mr.**** had a role in his termination!? Reason for Mr. ****** 2nd termination was caused by Mr. ****** who Mr. ****** over and over again kept canceling on our company Bride's during his time with the company and this insubordination as our company weddings approached. Mr. *** took no part in his termination; in fact it was the opposite - Mr. *** stuck up for Mr. ****** which was the reason we hired him back a 2nd time after Mr. ****** called pleading for his job back in September. It was solely my decision to terminate Mr. ****** the first time prior to Covid and terminate Mr. ****** again a second time in October during Covid. Mr. ****** gave me no choice on either occasion. This insubordination(s) is how Mr. ****** operates it is not how my company operates! Brides have enough to worry about getting married during the Pandemic than to have Mr. ****** cancel last minute to take another DJ job for more money from first a competitor being ********* of *******, NC who to my understanding Mr. ****** was recruited from a "Forever Bridal Show" prior to Covid and now terminated a second time because we discovered taking jobs with ****************** once again cancelling on our weddings/events thus Mr. ****** saying that he had School, or he was sick, etc. for his reasoning to cancel and all this per his altered email conversations that Mr. ****** has attached. The last job Mr. ****** worked as a DJ with my company before being terminated a second time for insubordination was on October 8, 2021; a Homecoming Dance (copy of contract submitted and this to prove his employment). We request that this complaint be removed for this FAKE complaint has zero merit being a former disgruntled employee. Thank you ********* - Operator.
