So added this service for ***** and was then charged an additional 9.99, canceled the service and then was charged an additional charge of *****. Reached out to Lasta/***** ******* and stated they were not refunding due to cancel policy. Based off what I initially signed up for, 3-months would have been $19, so fine was charged that, but they added an additional 9.99, and after I canceled chose to charge me an extra *****. Have been in contact with Lasta/***** and pretty much has said sorry too bad, we're keeping your money. Offered a percentage back, which I thought was on original charge and thought ok, it was $5, fine I will agree to the initial charge of $19, but not ok with the additional 9.99 and *****, feel like they are steal from me and they are trying to justify it.Initial Complaint

I had purchased a workout plan from Lasta. I did not use it, so at the end of December I cancelled my subscription, in which I received notification that the auto renew would not be effective after March 9. 2025. I understood what I committed to and was okay with that. I've since been charged for March 2025 and April 2025 fraudulently. I am unable to talk with anyone directly nor can they give me a specific response regarding my account. I want to ensure I am no longer charged but cannot trust that won't happen as when I tried to cancel the first time it obviously was not done. I want a refund and I want others to realize the fraudulent practices of the business and the fact they won't even talk to you. This customer service and sketchy business will do to others as they've don't to me, so I want to protect other potential clients from signing up for something they can't get out of. This company and it's leaders need to be held accountable.Business Response

I sent an email through Lasta's support line requesting that they cancel my subscription and provide a refund after I received the first $29.99 charge on my account. I estimate my contact through their support email system embedded in their "app" occurred around February 1. I trusted that they would contact me regarding my email and cancel my account as I requested. I do not have access to any records of that refund/cancellation request because they do not provide a phone number or email address for people to contact them. They have continuedto charge my card for 2 additional months for a total of $89.97, so now I would like a completerefund and proof that they canceled my subscription.I wanted to cancel my subscription and get a refund because the senior chair yoga for which I initially filled out a questionnairethat they advertised as accessible and gentle for any seniorwas neither accessible nor gentle. I am a disabled person with limited range of motion and could not even do 5 minutes of any of your chair yoga classes.There were NO other exercises that I was able to do and I am not able to fast due to my disabilities. I want you to cancel my subscription and receive actual information that they have cancelled my subscription and refunded the $89.97 charges for the past 3 months.I believe this company is a scam. I subscribed to Lasta in 2024 and no longer used the app so I cancelled in February 2025. I immediately received an email stating my auto renewal was been cancelled and my membership expires 3/29/2025. On that day I was charged, again, for my monthly membership that was cancelled. I've tried logging into my account but they have my account on "lock down" from my membership being cancelled. I have no way of speaking to an actual person. I'm only received a standard email saying they can't refund me because it's a "special offer". I just want my refund of $31.79 and to be sure I won't be billed every month for a service I can't access, nor do I want access to.Business Response

On Feb 16th I paid for a one time 20 day fitness plan that was offered at a discounted price of $10.06.During the purchase it was not communicated that the customer would be automatically enrolled as a member. On March 17th Lasa charged me $31.79 and $59.17 at the same time. This payment was not authorized. I called the number listed for **** and the recording stated that customers were unable to contact support via phone so I was unable to dispute a refund. I am filing a formal complaint against Lasta Fitness, as I have encountered an issue with an overcharge and their refusal to issue a refund.On January 23, 2025, I made a payment of $19.54 for services that were supposed to cover my subscription fees until April 24, 2025. On January 23, 2025, I was charged an additional $9.90 without prior notification or authorization, which constitutes an overcharge.I reached out to Lasta customer support to address the discrepancy, requesting a refund of the $9.90 charge. Despite my efforts, I have been denied a refund. Lastas customer support has not provided a valid explanation for the additional charge, nor have they rectified the error. I was charged again in the amount of $29.99 as of February 23, 2025.I have reviewed Lastas Refund Policy and while it notes that fees are generally non-refundable, it does not adequately address situations involving overcharges or errors in billing. The charge of $9.90 and $29.99 was not part of the original agreement, and it was applied without my consent.Under consumer protection laws, I am entitled to a refund for charges that were made in error or without proper authorization. The overcharge is a clear billing mistake, and I have provided all necessary documentation to support my claim.I am requesting that Lasta Fitness refund the $9.90 and $29.99 that was incorrectly charged to my account. Date of issue: February 24th, 2025 I purchased a subscription to Lasta for 28 days of wall pilates for $9.49. After purchasing that, I was told I had to purchase another subscription for $9.90 to access the exercises. I clicked out of it several times and was eventually able to bypass it, but was charged for it nonetheless. I contacted customer service and they told me they would give me additional subscriptions for free. I was so put off by the fact that I was forced into a sale that I didn't consent to that I don't want anything additional for free. I want a refund.
