  Fleas have been present since 10/16/21 until 12/7/2021. I have photo evidence and I even have a short video clip from 12/7/21 that depicts what appears to be a flea moving around in the vacuum cleaner canister after ****** Extermination had treated the apartment and determined there was NO flea activity. I paid first month’s rent plus pro-rated rent from 10/15/21 to 11/30/21 but I had not stayed one night in the apartment until the week of 11/8/21 due to not wanting to continue being bitten. I vacuumed every day from 11/10/21 until 11/25/21 because that it what I was told from an associate at ******* Extermination. I continued to see fleas the entire month of November but chose to keep quiet and just continued to vacuum every day because I was promised a transfer to a new apartment due to the inconvenience and headache I had experienced since my move in date. However, that transfer was delayed from 12/11/21 until 1/14/21 without notice to the tenant until I reached out via email on 12/6/21. The reviews left on ******, **************, as well as the Better Business Bureau are the reason for the lease termination. I spoke with my local judicial branch today and was notified of the 3 reasons for which a tenant can be evicted and leaving a negative review was not one of the those reasons. Originally I was told by the assistant property manager on 12/8/21 that the owner wanted to terminate the lease and I was to vacate by 12/31/21 but the letter I have attached states otherwise. I have also attached the reviews from ****** and ************** (which is the same review I left with the BBB). The only way to rectify this situation is to follow through with the promise of a new apartment.

  We spoke on the telephone yesterday regarding my situation at Woodland Heights. I initially left a review but after explaining my situation to you about what appears to be an illegal eviction due to me leaving a negative review I was encouraged to file a complaint. I actually did file my complaint last night and I attached pictures as well as documents to help support the complaint. I am reaching out because I wanted to know if I would be able to add four new pictures that will further support my complaint. It was not until after I submitted the complaint that I took the pictures. Four of the pictures depict fleas that I retrieved from my vacuum cleaner canister and one picture depicts two new bite marks on my foot/ankle. My case number is 16344865. I have attached those pictures to this email.
