My *********** went to order food from Peking Wok in **********, **** on Dec. 5, 2021(Sunday) around 2:15-2:30 p.m. When we arrived I told the waitress that I wanted to get one carry out from the buffet bar which is weighed by the pound. I told the waitress/greeter that I wanted to order something else after I get the carry out from the buffet bar. The waitress told me to go ahead & Id to order my food @ the register. Id gotten food from the buffet bar for my son, but @ the moment fried chicken wings wasnt on the buffet bar. Id walked around to keep from being in others way. I asked one of the cooks, how long for the chicken wings? He said, 20 minutes. I walked to the front & told my husband that there wasnt any chicken wings on the buffet bar. I told the cashier that it wasnt any wings on the buffet bar, so I wanted to order separate wings, b/c the wings wasnt on the buffet bar. A man that was standing beside me told me that he was waiting for wings as well, but theyre now on the buffet bar,therefore; I told the cashier(female) since the wings are on the buffet bar now, Id like to put some on my carry out & the only reason I was going to order separate wings for my son, because it wasnt any on the buffet bar. I told her that Id like to ,also, order (10) pcs.) fried chicken wings w/shrimp fried rice specialties in which the new price is $10.95. I ordered my husband the black pepper chicken onions combination platter in which the new price is $9.95. The cashier kept writing the orders wrong. My *********** explained to her several times what we wanted. My husband even pointed out to her what we wanted on the menu. She said, that shed it, then. When I paid the cashier for the food the subtotal came to $36.33. Id given the cashier(female) two $20 bills. She gave me $3.67 back in change. My *********** reside in S.C. When wed gotten home we realized that I didnt have my order of (10 pcs.) fried chicken wings. I told my husband that I was about to call Peking Wok, because I wanted the food that Id purchased. My son had he food(carry out) from the buffet bar. My husband had his black pepper chicken onions combination platter, but I didnt get the fried wings that Id ordered with the fried chicken wings w/shrimp fried rice specialties. They had given me a small carton of shrimp fried rice. When I called I told him that I was from ******** ,also, explained to the owner & the waitress about my situation, but all he kept telling me was that my food didnt come w/the $36.33. He told me that theyre located in ****************** food is weighed by the lb. I told him that I knew that, because Id been going to their restaurant many times! He, then, asked me what was my phone number? I told him that I didnt call in & that my *********** had visited their restaurant to order our food. He asked me what time did I come there? I told him that I didnt know the exact time, but itd been about an hour before Id arrived home. He told me that he was trying to find my ticket. Next, he asked was my order in Bass? I replied, yes! Hed asked the cashier about the situation. She lied & denied it. I told him that she kept messing up our orders. I could hear her in the background saying, I kept changing my order. I only changed my order once, & thats when the cooks had ,finally, placed the fried chicken wings on the buffet bar. I put fried chicken wings in my son carry out(thats weighed by the pound) on the buffet bar. I felt that theyd tried to cheat me, because I told the owner that I resided in S.C. I think he thought that it mayve been my first visit ************ could get over on me. All I wanted was what was right. As a loyal customer to his ******************** are right. He denied me from coming back to get the food that Id purchased. I took photos of the food that we have. In businesses there are cameras. You could watch the footage from the camera if needed be. The cashier also failed to put our receipt in the bag/staple the receipt as they normally do. I think I was treated poorly. Id like an ************ $10.95 for my (10 pcs.) fried chicken wings w/shrimp specialties. The point of it all is how I was treated as a customer & how the cashier lied. All customers should be treated rightfully!
