This business took my truck in Feb 2022 to replace a motor due to a motor blowing. I did have insurance and the insurance covered the blower motor. A $8,000 check was sent from my insurance company to cover the cost of my motor, before receiving the check the owner of FMJ Racing kept demanding for me to upfront the $8,000 which I refused, on March 8th 2022 the insurance check cashed and according the to owner of FMJ the motor was purchased. This was one of the last actual conversations I had with the owner of the busy, months go by, constantly tried reaching owner and got no response, when I did receive responses I was continually told it would be ready the following Friday but that’s never happened. Fast forward to current days now almost no communication, finally owner answers and explains he is working on the truck and removing the motor, explained to me that most of the old motor had been stripped and removed. On June 19th I went to FMJ after months of no response & unfulfilled promises & found that the grass around my truck with high, the truck had not been touch since it was moved, no motor removed nothing in fact has been removed or even touched. I’m beyond frustrated and I feel like his taken my money & bounced, we are working on the 7th month of the year so half is gone & this company has had my vehicle most of it. I understand delays, unexpected life issues but 6 months is more than enough time, I’m not sure this is even the correct route but I need help getting this resolved.
