I was billed for this from a visit two years previous. I havent been to this hospital in over a decade. Also, my wife received a similar bill. We hen she called she was given the run around and they acted like she was stupid. We only paid so it would not hurt our credit.Business response

******************* issued payment and then reprocessed late charge. The reprocessing caused a debit contractual to hit account. Account was adjusted. No patient out of pocket on this visit.
We are unable to address the comment about the patient's wife as we do not have her name and she is not listed patient's account.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
I am 100% sure that I have not been to that hospital in a least a decade. Im rejecting because why was my insurance billed in the first place?Business response

This bill is for a lab specimen sent from patient's primary care provider ************************ Date of service was 9/9/2021.
As was previously stated, this claim was reprocessed and no patient out of pocket is due on this account.

On 10/25/2022, I was an outpatient at Erlanger Hospital in ******, **. I received a bill from Rutherford Regional Health System on 11/10/22 and paid the bill. I was notified on 12/13/22 by my insurance company that I overpaid that bill by $670.37. I contacted Rutherford on 1/23/23, 3/14/23, 3/24/23, 4/6/23, and received a call from a supervisor in 4/7/23. Each time I was assured that reimbursement was 2.5 to 3.5 weeks away. Yet here I am, months later without reimbursement.
