      I have used Hardline Roofing recently and they have been nothing but accomodating They replaced my old roof and did an awesome job ,they also replaced the gutters on the house . There was an issue with the contractor they sent but when I called they quickly remedied the problem . They were more than happy to help they have made sure all my questions have been answered and taken care of they went above and beyond my expectations I LOVE my house it looks great my neighbors have also commented on how great it looks looks new its a 1924 house looks like it was just built . Kudos to Hardline Charles and Theodore have been very helpful ... A very satisfied customer **** ***** **** ***** ** tell them I sent you :) come see for yourself it looks great !!!!

      Hired Charles P***** of Hardline Roofing to repair roof and replace roofing. I had heard and read glowing reviews. Was pleased that CP was here supervising the whole day of repair/installation, 11-23-20. However, I was not pleased with damage done to a gutter (unharnessed) worker fell damaging gutter beyond repair, siding corner pieces (around each chimney) were cut to fit over new roofing (looked horrible). With each concern I was (now) being told that my 29 year old house was old, gutters old, siding (as he said now after saying it was cut to fit) tore because they were old and brittle. Even though it was precisely cut from the bottom up from the middle of each corner piece with black chalk filling the upside down v gap behind the white siding. March 25, 2021, I came in to find my family room floor soaked, I mean soaked, in the same area of the claim. Family members were able to put a kiddy pool & tarps in the attic to divert the water flow. I was advised to contact CP and allow him to inspect. CP was sternly adamant that he had done a great job. When the materials were torn off the roof, it could be clearly seen that my roof had not been repaired. The damaged materials were covered over. Even old flashing was still intact with new flashing spaced randomly over it inches apart. It was also clearly seen why the old corner siding did not fit over all the bulk. Members of my family came over to watch, take pictures and gather damaged matetials as two man crew worked for two days armed in the beginning with only a hammer. During this time the previously cut siding was futher damaged, more gutter damage was caused, a falling nail gun, dents from ladders and lack of. My attic looked pitiful where they hammered out damaged plywood. The day they left everything was still a mess, siding missing & hanging, gutters damaged, my attic area looked like a mini tornado hit it. I asked the men about further repairs, they said CP would be by that afternoon. He did not show. I sent CP a email April 2 listing my concerns after not hearing from him. His only reply was that he would come by to pick up the remaining supplies that were left in my drive way. Thankfully my email was intercepted by 2 coworkers in Wilmington, they were concerned, they called, set up a time and day to check out the situation. They were not pleased with what I, my family, my house had endured and offered to come up later in April to start with repairs, the remaining materials were still in my driveway. They began repairs, finished most on their list. They were planning to come back and replace a damaged j-channel. The gas crisis hit, delays set in and then I didn't hear from them. Finally I found that one guy was no longer with the company and the other was sick. I was told the repairs would be passed to CP. I did not hear from CP, I called his office Oct 7, 2021. His secretary said that she would be glad to come out with someone to replace the j-channel. All was well. Minutes after that call. CP called shouting at me, not allowing me to get a word in edgewise. Then he sent me a email, detailing how he did not approve of the repairs previously done by his coworkers. He sent me a list of hoops to jump through in order to get the j channel replaced. Stating he had tried to resolve issues with me, which is clearly not true...if he had we would not be here. Accusing me of saying things I did not say. Accusing me of degrading him? I'm sorry but the experience and the outcome speaks for itself. If the repairs had been done...not covered, as any insurance expert would agree....I would hope this would be a totally different review.
