************ set up my mobile home in June of 2021. The company we purchased our home through paid him, and now he refuses to respond to our complaints, or give us his insurance info so we can file a claim. His company placed the crawl space door in the wrong place, did not properly connect the crossover ducting, placed the piers incorrectly ( not by manufacturer's standard), did a horrible job on the brick underpinning, left the moisture barrier in multiple pieces - possibly causing long term issues, and left a large pile of trash and hardened mortar we had to clean up and pay to dispose of. Several times during the process we cleaned up trash his crew left all over our property - coke cans, food containers, water bottles, and multiple kinds of cigarettes. He was told specifically where to place the door to the underpinning, and instead placed it on the complete opposite side, away from all reasons you need a door, and at the bottom of a hill, half buried by runoff. He connected the A C with only a zip tie, leaving a leak we have already had to fix, and the plumbing job was worse than substandard - it looks like he just used spare parts from his truck and kept adding different ones until he made it connect. ************ Homes, the seller that recommended him and released payment to him, continues to provide him work and will not provide us his insurance or bond info. They advised us to go through the licensing board (who informed us that was not something they do), and offered to *help* pay for repairs. We have cracks that are growing in the walls and across the ceiling, a laundry room floor that is uneven, and underpinning looking like a kindergarten art project. He was paid around $ 20,000 to move the home less than 30 miles and set it up, and the only part that was done correctly appears to be the move - the home made it to our land. Every single other task was completed horribly. We need a fix or complete refund to pay for repairs.
