Their device (Kahu 3) tracks your data and violates your privacy. They installed a device (Kahu 3 by *******) for $1499 that tracks my location without my consent. Kahu 3 can track your vehicle location and all data related to your vehicle.Such data can be used to find:where you live where your kids go to school where you go to work where you shop where you go for vacation And much more I was never told that it was tracking my location until I read Kahu 3 TOS. Once I called, they kept denying Kahu 3 is tracking my location and Spireon (Kahu 3s manufacturer) has the ability to use my location data in any shape or form.But, on the Kahu 3 terms of service (*********************************************) it clearly states in Section 2: ************* ********* is hereby permitted to collect, maintain, and use anyinformation about your driving behavior, including the operation, location, mileage or features of Your vehicle.I asked them to remove and refund my $1499. The management kept stalling for a week and asked for time to discuss with upper management. They immediately became defensive and rejected my request to have Kahu 3 removed when I pushed to understand why it was never verbally mentioned that it was tracking my location collecting data.I was gaslighted that I was misinformed regarding Kahu 3 tracking my location. I work in the software industry, I know exactly how GPS location tracking works and how it is collected. Either they are lying about what they are selling or they do not understand what they are selling. I do not know which is worse. But clearly, as stated in Kahu TOS, the device is collecting my location.I have asked to receive a copy of all the contracts I signed, but none of them show that they are installing a device on my car that tracks my location. I will be getting Kahu 3 removed to protect my familys privacy, but won't ever be buying from Sandford Imports if they dont reach back, refund, and remove the device themselves.
