I use the Selma Laundromat because its convenient for me even thought a lot of their dryers do not work. But sometimes I have no other choice but to go to that laundromat bc I have literally had only $20 to dry my kids school close and put gas in my car to go to work on whatever change was left. Today I went to dry 3 loads. I put $2 in each which gave me 40 mins in each. I left because I had my sick twins with me and didnt want to get anyone else sick. When I came to pick them up only 1 load wasnt dry so I went into the attached restaurant where they give change. And the owner owns both. I told the man that was working 1 or the 3 loads didnt dry. He asked me if the clothes had finished drying I replied yes. Then he asked me with an attitude why didnt I tell him sooner. I told him bc I didnt know until I came back and before I could finish my sentence to let him know I had my 2 sick twins and we couldnt sit in the car and wait bc it was too hot for them being sick all he rudely says thats not my problem if you left. I have been going here for the last 3 years bc sometime I cant afford to go farther. I didn't come to the man and say my clothes were stolen bc in that case that would of been a risk I took leaving. But as a customer of a business that is suppose to properly dry my clothes and there where no other signs but the one that said "only works on med heat" (which is NOT the dry that didnt work) they have failed. But the crazy thing is he wouldn't reimburse me the $2 that would of have went right back to them in a working dryer. This is not the first time I've had and issue with the dryers not working its actually the 3rd time. And never once have I seen an out of order sign even after letting them know. I cant help that I cant remember exactly which dryer isnt working bc its not just 1 or 2 its several. Once they have been told that a dry is not working and actually gave me my money back to put in a working one they should of not of waited to hang an out of order sign.
