DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I hired them in July 2021 to do shelving. I paid a deposit of $3200. To date, no work has been started. They asked for an additional $1000 in November 2021 when no work has been even started. They block me on ********* Instagram, etc when I complained. Delays after delays with excuses after excuses. I have asked for a refund of $4200 in February as I dont have anymore patience to deal with unethical business practices. They do not answer not return any phone calls, emails, nor text messages. They state they dont have my money and refuse to fulfill my shelving order. The last email was last week communicating that I will receive part of my refund this week and the remainder in a month. Either install shelving or refund my money! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY!Initial Complaint

On December 19, 2019 I contacted Lockhart for a quote on some custom barn door book cases. On December 28, 2019, I put a deposit down for $1,141.09. Over the next nearly 2 years I've gotten intermittent updates from them despite the lead time being about 12 weeks (to my memory). I've requested frequent updates and been given many, many excuses. On November 30, 2020 I was sent a picture of my partially completed book cases. On July 27, 2021 I was told that the order would be out by August. It's now November, and I've written this off. I'd just like to get my deposit back.Initial Complaint

On December 24, 2019 I paid a down payment of $1141.09 for a custom made rolling kitchen cart and a large bookcase with rolling barn doors. I have yet to see the piece of furniture and the company has stopped responding to my emails, particularly when I asked for a refund. I have tried to reach them via email, on their website, and through Etsy, where I first made contact with them. As of now, I would like an entire refund because I had to go out and buy new furniture and no longer need theirs.Initial Complaint

On January 27, 2020 I ordered an entertainment center with barn doors from Lockhart Furniture. I paid a deposit of $652.05 on my **************** card. I was given a delivery date of 16 weeks. I continued to check in for updates as I did not hear anything and my delivery date was approaching. I was told of delays due to COVID, staffing, lack of lumber and other reasons for the delay from that time until the present day. I continued to reach out, and either didn't get a response or finally got one and was given another reason for delay. The last contact was June 3, 2021. I was again told it was close to time for my piece to be manufactured. I responded that if the piece was not in my possession by September 1st, I wanted a refund. I do not have my piece as of this date, no correspondence, and no refund. At this time I just want my deposit refunded and to move on. They continue to take orders and deposits from others as this continues.
