I've had my olefin rugs for almost a year and a half now. We have two hearding (high energy) dogs, a toddler, and we vacuum the rugs every day, sometimes twice a day. The rugs are high quality and I have had nothing but good experiences with their customer service. After I placed my order, they even persinally called me to ask if we wanted them to send samples of the rugs (free of charge) before they fulfilled our order to ensure the colors and quality were what we were expecting. In reference to other posts, the rugs have acquired some very, very minor snags from the dogs on a couple strands of the yarn. Desptite this, they're unnoticeable unless you begin to look for them. The edges of the rug look just as great as the day I unboxed them. One of my favorite parts about braided rugs is the character they aquire and the story that they tell as they age- the dogs playing tug of war, the kids pushing dump trucks and pushing chairs across them and the various other memories made with family and friends. I've recommended Stroud Braided Rugs to anyone that has asked or mentioned purchasing a braided rug. I look forward to purchasing more rugs and runners from them in the future.

It seems most of the time when we didn't do whatever entitled/unrealistic demand the other's ask for they just come here and write nasty things that aren't accurate and there isn't much we can do about it. The rugs were not the quality I was expecting and VERY underwhelming!!!! They quickly accepted the return however I wasted $44 to ship them back. Keep this in mind before you order UPDATE They have had returned rugs for 23 days and have yet to refund. Had to dispute charges DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

The return was not delayed 23 days, that is from the date the customer's request to return was accepted. We need to physically receive the return and be able to inspect it before we can process the return. While this return did take longer than we would like we are learning from this experience and working on streamlining the process better.

I ordered four rugs from this company November 2020. I ordered two runners an two oval rugs. The company suggested I order the rugs in the olefin material since I have a dog. It is now October 2021 and my rugs look like they are 20 years old. The edges are frayed, threads are popping out of the rugs and there are several picks on the rugs. I emailed the company last week, I didn't really expect any refund since it has been almost a year. But what I didn't expect was a rude email from Rebecca Stroud. She basically placed all of the blame on me and also my dog for the rugs not lasting. As a matter of record, I have a seven year old 20 lb dog who is well past the chewing destructive stage. I found the tone of the email to be very rude and condescending . There was no apology or anything else for the rugs not lasting. It would have been nice for Ms Stroud to at the very least say she was sorry that the rugs did not meet my expectations. I am not sure why there are all the five star reviews on the company's website unless the customer just received the rugs and had not had them for any amount of time. Or the reviews are fraudulent. I usually don't write reviews good or bad but I felt Ms. Stroud and the inappropriate email deserved letting other people know, BUYER BEWARE!!

Again, we are sorry you are disappointed with your rugs. Olefin is more durable than wool, but it is not indestructible. The picks require an external force lifting a single strand of yarn out of the rug since the rug is an inanimate object. If it was the rug being of poor quality, the damage/problem would be on both sides of the rug. The customer confirmed it is only on the side that is being used. Our goal is to provide the best quality possible, but our rugs are not indestructible.
