Terrible experience from beginning to end. Took deposit, said he would start in 2 weeks never started until 2 months later. We were adding windows in new locations to a three year old house that has a lake view. Hed have his daughter and helper work a few days and get another draw and then disappear for a couple weeks. He said the entire job was two weeks from start to finish and instead he dragged it out for 2 months, it still wasnt complete when I had to fire him. They made a mess through the house inside and out. They cut much larger holes in my siding than the widow needed to where we had to have over 75 boards of siding replaced. When they went to install drywall (in his contract to first taping) they charged me for three times the drywall than the job called for and left it all closing off a exit path in our garage. The drywall they did was a nightmare, all had to be taken down and we had to pay a company to come in to redo it all and throw out all the new drywall we had paid **** for. *************** said they had never seen such a horrible drywall job. ***** daughter taped one room and it looked like a child did it. When cleaning up after installing drywall the daughter used a broken shop vac that blew white fog through my entire house of drywall dust. I asked her what was happening, she said Its broken/missing a hose and we dont want to buy another one until we are done with your house. I had another window co. redo things and they said Wow! Looks like your installer had a bad day. These windows are very poorly installed. **** lied to us acting as if he had never been in our house before this job, I asked him if he knew the incapable contractor we had that started this remodel, **** said he didnt- truth is **** was hired by him to install our new interior doors (which he made a mess of) and we had to have those all taken out/ redone as well. **** charged us $1,500.00 for three windows he never put in. **** also has a bad temper and yelled at me.

At the being of this project. I really felt bad for these people. They had the old contractor screws me blues. ***** designed and ordered the windows with another company blaming the company for all the wrong measurements wrong designs. *************** seems like a loving caring women. Until you can not do what she wants done.!We definitely had weather delays on the project before hers. It was a wet spring and we had some back ordered jobs we had to take care of 1st so we had 30 day delay . She was fully aware. We set anotherstart date she asked if we can not start for another month she had a friend staying with her. We adjusted our schedule and made it work (have a text conversation to prove the **** as per *****). We never said it would be 2week job. Her husband **** up a draft on how the job should be done and he said it would be a two week job. And handed us a schedule. Well *************** did not agree with her husband schedule and said do it her way. I said we cant do it to his schedule and your at the same time. We need to pick one !she stated (my husband and I are on the same page you do what I say). After the husband heard that they had a heated argument in front of my crew and I .. ************* said I dont care. And stomped off upstairs. To go to work. After that point ************* was very different person. The next morning *************** wanted another room started ************* wanted us to finish the rooms prior so he can live in a finished room. *************** would not have it. He showed disappointment and anger towards our crew. And yes I told him you will not talk to us or me that way. He was upset with his wifes decision to start the dinning room. Yes it got heated from both parties. The man was rude belittling shaking his head in disgust. I dont know if I could blame him. She had us jumping from room to room without finishing the 1st room. None of the windowd or door had enough framing to pass inspection. *************** and her supplier never figured in for framing no **** studs or ***************** sizes where ever thought about. After removing more drywall and siding to figure out how to get steel header or lvl headers in place with the bare minimum **** and king ****** I requested to bring in Enginner. We did not only did he find that the windows needed extra engendering he found problems with the existing framing. It should never have passed inspection 3 years ago when the house was build originally. We had meeting with the inspectors and engineer to fix these issues. The time crunch was her grand son was coming for a month. Her decision to not fix any of the inspection violations or recommend repairs from the engineer. I had no choice but to pull my permit and remove my self from the job. So *************** said after she paid her next draw. We set a date to come back after her grand son left. So we can finish the project. That was on a Wednesday we both knew we were supposed to put up temporary drywall so her grand son. Would be safe and not touch any insulation. That same Wednesday I got brutally Ill in her driveway it was a stomach virus. So I left my crew behind to put up temporary drywall all of us knew this. The return date of the 24th we where to remove the drywall and begin repairing and her electrical company to run wiring. Some walls are not insulated or electrical completed. I bet to this day she is missing insulation. Her job is not ready to be finished. As per our contract My windows and doors LLC Did not hire any other trades contractors and was not responsible for her siding and paint.We have a copy of our contract. We have all the hand written notes and drawings for every window and door. Lets get to her firing us. Both parties knew Thursday was our last day until the 24tg of the month. She called friday morning asking if we can hang the dry wall on the top 16 feet of her kitchen. I had made other arrangements and could not. She got so iirrat She screamed at me. Saying I am tired of being 2nd on your list if you dont come today your fired and Ill take you to court. I said I could not we would be back on the 24th as written down on her last draw payment on Wednesday. She screamed at me saying she not fixing the framing issues even ask the inspector what would happen if she didnt want to fix everything and put up the drywall. At that point *************** ask us to put everything back together and not fix the framing violations. I could not take a chance at getting anyone hurt if that structure falls down. We had to walk away. Now its been some time. Since she taken the other builder to court. I done a bunch of research. She hires and fires contractors on every project. I have a list of contractors from her last house that will not work for her anymore Multiple electrical contractors General contractors painters drywall eta Flooring tile guys. She is a professional scammer and does what she wants. She installed a new front door with another contractor never pulled a permit never had a framing or insulation inspection on it. You can check her permit status None We tried everything to do her job correctly That is not what she wanted. She blames everyone for her mistakes her lack of building knowledge. Yes she built a house it doesnt make her a builder. I can go on and on. I am so happy we parted ways almost two months ago. The stress the lies the shadiness this ************ away if your a contractors. She will s**** you out of money Time and dignity.
