We ordered a specialty espresso machine from ******** ***** of VP Coffee located at *** ** ** ***** ***** ** *****. The price for the machine was $14,548.99. As per the agreement, we paid $6274.55 at the time of the order and then on 1/05/2022 paid the remaining balance of $8274.44. Both payments cleared our bank and ******** ***** confirmed receipt in email communications. After the 2nd payment, Mr. ***** told us the machine was back ordered. He later told us the price went up. He said we could pay more, or he could order a less expensive alternative. Because we had determined that the machine was widely available from other venders and that the price had not increased, we requested that VP coffee return the $14,548.99. Mr. ***** said that he would have the accounting department process return of our money. When we did not receive payment, we followed up by phone and email requesting an update. What followed was a long chain of excuses and reasons why that payment was not forthcoming. Since March of 2022, we have sent regular emails inquiring of the status of the payment including on March 24, March 30, April 6, April 25, May 2, June 17, and June 29. On April 6, 2022 Mr. ***** responded by email that VP Coffee had been acquired In a sale and that they were trying to determine who was responsible for the payment. Since June 25, Mr. ***** has not responded to our calls or emails. We are requested your assistance in the return of our money. Thank you for any help you can provide in this matter.
