I provided a total of $5,623 to ********************************* Holland (he goes by *****) of Holland Marine & Diesel for 2 air conditioning units and a freezer cold plate for my boat located in *********, **. I have not received what I paid for, invoices, or a refund. I provided the funds on 16 May 23 ($3638) and 12 Jun 23 ($1985). The funds were transferred by ***** at the insistence of ***** Holland. I was not provided with any copies of the invoices, despite repeated requests. I have been in contact with ***** by email, phone, and text. He claims to have possession of the 2 air conditioning units since July and had me stand by to have them delivered or for me to pick them up on 3 occasions, most recently on Saturday, 4 November 2023. I had to hire a private investigator to find his new address, ***********************************************************************.

In June of 2021, Mr. Jason H****** of Holland Marine and Diesel 260 sunset Road initiated work on my center console boat. He provided numerous excuses regarding delays. On October 18th he contacted me and said the boat was fixed. He requested that I send a check of $4,250 to his home address of 4894 Beech Tree Drive in Southport, NC so that he could keep the payment off his books. When I put the boat in the water it had the same engine problems as when the boat was taken to him in June of 2021. He said he would return to the boat to fix the problem but as of February of 2022 the boat was not fixed. I had the boat removed from the water and had another mechanic check the boat. I was told that the work that Jason H****** said he did was not done. Jason H****** never provided a detailed receipt or return of replaced parts for the owners inspection. The new mechanic made the needed repairs for $600.00 and the boat now runs perfect. I am seeking for a full return of the $4250.

Jason H****** accepted payment for 45,000 for engine work, parts and labor and then over the course of 1.5 years made excuses and didn't do the job - and did not refund me any of the money. Fraudulent engine purchase of $7450, Fly wheel purchase that was not installed ($896.66), and additional parts paid for but not provided ($1,210.03). In all, thus far.... $9,878.55 in parts purchased but not provided. Attached is a document highlighting the text conversation about the purchase of the long block for the starboard motor, in which he used the existing port motor and moved it over. I also attached to this email the audio recordings of Jason H****** trying to tell me on Tuesday February 8 2022 at approximately 10:45 am, that we agreed upon a rebuild, but that does not correlate with the invoice he provided me (attached), and the estimate he submitted to insurance (also attached). The flywheel evidence is displayed in the text messages as well as the invoice and estimate provided. in addition to photographic evidence takend last night by the new mechanic. The other audio recording is of Jason H****** (same time and date as above) saying he did not have the spark plugs, which I ordered and paid for from him. Upon further examination on the boat and reading through invoice 1312 additional parts are unaccounted for on the engines in the boat, or on the boat ready to be attached. In other words, paid for but not provided (Oil filters, rotor and caps, plug wires, wrong gasket kit, oil, coolant).
