    I needed a new vet closer to our home that accepted Scratch pay and decided to go with River Road. I filled out all the forms, sent over records and setup my appointments for two pets, same day, different times. Due to a scheduling conflict, I had to reschedule one of my appointments and I let them know 48 hours advance of the issue. I did not hear back until the day before and was informed that everything that was told upon setting up everything prior, was actually not what I was initially presented. I was told this originally after setting up my appointments: Both pets could be seen the same day, just different vets and had to be at different times. I was able to go to my first appointment and pay one scratch pay balance at the end of the 2nd appointment was completed since it was in the same day. The deposit for the visits was $90.The day before my appointments: Both pets cannot be seen in the same day per their policies. To see them both, would be an acceptation if a deposit of $200 was made. Each visit, within the same day of care, for 2 pets must be paid after each, separately. Deposit for same day is $200, not $90.I had tried to ask about why it was a policy that we could not schedule 2 pets, with different vets, at 2 different times. This was never really answered, but that it was their policy. I just didnt understand why it was not answered clearly, ever. The only other issues I really had, was that I was totally told the wrong information from the start and there was no exceptions or communication that anything could be worked out, before they canceled both appointments. It was their mistake and they played it out to be that I was the one at fault with no real initiative to work it out. They terminated me as a client because I did not understand their policies and questioned them about the entire incident from start to finish.
