I went to the this pawn shop and I told the person at the pawn shop my situation he assured me over the phone that my item would absolutely not be sold and he would give me as much time as I needed to pick it up with of course charging me interest. I called today and my property was sold!! They lied to me and sold my property unlawfully. I was absolutely 100% promised that they would not sell it,

This is what I received. I called the pawn shop in January and February and I spoke to Jeff and he promised me since I still owed 1200 dollars on this **** he would not sell this and that he would give me until April or May to pick this up. When I asked him for something in writing his exact response was so what you don’t trust me. Well now I realize I should not have trusted him this is horrifying to be lied to like

Our policy is not to take any item that has a lien or that it not owned by the customer signing the Pawn contract. *** ***** Pawned an **** with keyboard on 11/02/2022. She never advised that she did not own or that there was a lien on the item that she pawned at the time of the loan. We did speak to *** in February & advised her that as long as she continued to pay the interest payments on the Item pawned, then it will not be sold. Interest accrues every 30 days from the Maturity date of the original contract which was 11/2/2022. *** made a payment in February for $77.00 which confirmed that the loan would be held 60 days past the due date on the loan (please see the attachments). Lastly, *** knowingly pawned an item that she did not own & didn't advise of this information at the time of the loan or it would have been denied. Please see the signed Pawn ticket that *** uploaded & please see highlighted area of the pawn ticket that *** signed when she pawned the item. We held the **** until 4/10/2023. *** did not contact us or made any additional payments since February 2023 (please see all the attached supporting documents).
      Thank You

I am rejecting this response because: I did tell Jeff that I had payments due on the **** and he promised no matter if I made of interest payments or not he would let them accrue but that he would hold the item indefinitely. My response was can I please get this in writing and his response was so what you do not trust me.!!!! So the answer yes I do not trust this establishment and they do shady business/ I was NEVER asked if I owed money on the property at the time I pawned it as I had full intentions of picking it up!!! These people are liars and thieves. I had a conversation with Jeff and told him in January of my financial situation and that I still owed $1200 dollars on the **** he said don’t worry I’ll keep it here as long as you need me to. Which was a lie so much so now they are lying in this response. My lawyers is now handling the matter. I want no further communication from these thieves. Yes my attorney is a friend and doing it for free since I’m disabled and broke/ thank you
