I purchased a boat new from ************** in ******, ******* on 09/19/2018. On 02/10/2020, the boat manufacturer, World Cat, issued a service bulletin to address a safety issue related to the way the leaning post assembly on the boat was constructed. I stopped using the boat as instructed by the service bulletin and took it to ************** for repairs. ************** returned the boat to me after stating that repairs were completed. They provided an invoice attesting to these repairs and billed World Cat for the repairs. On 08/02/2023, I experienced problems with the leaning post while operating my boat. These problems resulted in damage to the leaning post near the area where the service bulletin identified an issue. Upon contacting World Cat and inspecting the leaning post of my boat, I learned that ************** had not performed the necessary work to resolve the safety concern that had led to the issuance of the service bulletin in 2020. World Cat was initially helpful in attempting to isolate and resolve the issue. However, they eventually ceased all contact without providing any suggested resolution.Note that I do have extensive documentation related to this issue. That documentation includes photographs, communication records, etc. It can be provided upon request.
