On July 23, 24, I was referred to *******, the owner, through a friend to finance a car. Even though I am 2 hours away, I felt he could possibly help with my situation, I was completely wrong. ******* told me he could get me in a newer vehicle for no money down, just pay tags and taxes (500) and I agreed and went through with the initial approval process with him over the phone. He immediately told me I was approved, went over monthly payment details and warranty information and told me he would be picking the vehicle up that I was approved for that Wednesday or Thursday and I could come get the vehicle Saturday or Sunday, which was fine because I wanted him to make sure the vehicle was ok. He also said that I needed to send him additional information as far as income to his email and to complete a link, which I never received. From that point, he only communicated with the person who referred me to him to relay information. He told the mutual contact that he had the vehicle towed to him that Friday and that it was possible we could pick it up Sunday. I spoke with ******* on Monday the 29th and he stated the bumpers had cosmetic issues and he wanted to paint both bumpers and I agreed and asked when I could pick it up, he then told me he never received my additional information and provided an email. I told him I never received the email or the link from the previous conversation but I would send it again immediately after I got off the phone. He told me I could come get the vehicle Wednesday and to have the 500. Wednesday, he tells the mutual contact that he hasn't received any additional information and the car is ready, I called him again and explained I had sent the information so he told me to text it to him and I did immediately. My credit alerted again because he ran it again, this time without my consent. He then messaged mutual contact at 9pm stating I now needed 1400 to get the car. He ran my credit again without my consent and asked for more money.
