On May 10th 2024 I paid the dealership for a 2014 **** Mustang. The sales Person , ***************************, told me they needed to fix the radio after I paid the money for the car. I was told to leave car and they would have it ready in a few days. Because of that I did not take possession of the vehicle. I did not hear back from ****************. I called on May 16th and spoke to **************** as ***************** was unavailable. The car was still not ready. On May 18th **************** called me and said there were issues with the radio replacement. After not hearing back from them I called and spoke to ************** on May 22nd. I told ************** since I had not taken possession of the vehicle and there were issues, I no longer want the car and wanted my money refunded. ************** told me that they sent the car out to **** dealer and there was no one in the office to give a check that day. I asked would someone be there in a few days to give me my refund check, he said yes. We agreed either I would get the car on the 24th of May or all of my money would be refunded. On the 24th ************** called me and told me the car was still not ready and nobody was there to write the check due to holiday weekend. As of May 30th I have not heard back from High-Thom Motors, received the car or my refund. I was never given the keys or anything related to car. They took my money and I feel like they are taking advantage of me because I am 85 years old. How can they make me pay for something and keep it. ************** agreed the car or the money and now I want my money.Business response

I financed a car with High thom motors for just over fourteen thousand dollars on July 31st 2023. Just days after purchasing the vehicle the clutch started slipping and I am unable to drive the vehicle. The dealer refuses to help me in any way shape or form. The issue started immediately and there’s no way they didn’t have an idea that it was happening. I was told the dealer provided warranty didn’t cover a clutch as it is a wear item. In most cases I would agree but I wasn’t even able to put 300 miles on the vehicle before the issue startedCustomer response
