These claims may come to our attention from our internal review of advertising, consumer complaints and competitor challenges. BBB asks advertisers to prove their claims, change ads to make offers clearer to consumers, and remove misleading or deceptive statements.

On April 8, 2022, Better Business Bureau of Central and Northwest NC contacted the business regarding advertisements on their website, https://kerftreeservices.com/, stating:

• Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed
  Your satisfaction is our priority and we strive to provide tree services we are proud of.  We start every project by providing a thorough consultation to understand your goals and the needs of the project. We do this to guarantee that the project is completed according to your preferences.

Basic Principles of the Code requires that advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.

Warranties or Guarantees  - When using the term "warranty" or "guarantee" in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale at the advertiser's location, viewed on the advertiser's website or, in the case of mail or telephone order sales, made available free on written request.

As of April 29, 2022, BBB has not received a response from the business. The business has failed to substantiate, modify, or discontinue any of the advertised claims brought to its attention.
