About 6 weeks this crew was cutting a tree from someone eles property. That is why I have not filed sooner because it took me this long to find out who they were . They left a huge mess for me on my property. Also damaged several small trees which I had to remove. They parked the chipper in the road in front of my home and left the mess which I had to clean up. OK so you cannot get every twig but this was more than a few. But worst of all I had some hardwood logs in a pile which we were going to use for firewood. They took every last one. I did not know until they had already left. I contacted Brooks and asked hom to make this right. I asked for ****** for the ***************** took and the mess they left . He said they did not leave a mess nor take the wood which is untrue. He offered me ***** but I said no. I am 70 years old and do not need this grief I will never get my wood back and now I have a pile of brush to get rid of. All this work was hard for me and I just want him to do the right thing. Maybe he is a good man but he does not want to admit his errors.Business response

We did do work for ********************** neighbor on Aug. 9th. I haven't heard anything from anyone until ****************** emailed me on Sept. 27th. She stated that we had removed her logs and left a mess in front of her home that she had to clean up. I am baffled by this. We take pride in our work and our reputation in the community proves this. We did not leave a mess in our customer's yard, nor in the road in front of ********************** yard. Our customer (********************* neighbor) was very happy and said we did a great job. This makes no sense to me. Also, why would a tree company steal wood from a yard? We have to find places to dump wood or chip it to get rid of it. Our company does not sell firewood. We only do tree removal, pruning, deep root fertlization, etc. Why would I pay employees to go steal wood from another person's yard to then take it to the dump? This is not logical. I'm genuinely sorry that ****************** feels this way. When she contacted me, I did offer to give her $50 to try to resolve the conflict even though my company didn't do anything wrong. We would still be willing to do that or we can bring ****************** some wood in order to resolve this conflict. We value our reputation and have worked hard for ************************************ all of our business dealings. If either of the above solutions will help ******************, we are willing to do it.
Sincerely,
Ed Brooks

I am rejecting this response because:
It is a lie. They did leave a mess and whether he admits or not is up to him. As far as the neighbor is concerned he expressed unhappiness with the mess they left on his property and I know they are a tree company and do not know why they took the wood nor left the mess but they did. I have no reason to fabricate this situation So I may never get payment but what goes around comes around
Sincerely,
