We contacted this company on November 1st, 2022 in order to have an estimate given to resurface our driveway. The owner came out to our property and quoted us $2500, of which we would need to pay half down and half after the work was completed. He promised us a written contract with details of the work for us to sign. After talking it over, we decided to go with his estimate and set a date for the work to be done. We made several attempts to set up a time to pay the deposit and get the contract signed, but the owner never made himself available. He then showed up, without a deposit and without a contract, and did the work (in half the time quoted) while we were at work, only reappearing to collect payment after the fact. The work looked bad, but he promised as it set over the next week the appearance would improve. Since he had done the work we felt pressured to pay, despite the lack of a signed contract.Over a week went by and there was no change to the driveway. The work was uneven, spotty, and of obviously poor quality. He promised to come and fix it twice, but each time failed to show or contact us to say he would not come. The third time he promised to fix it, he text us an hour before he was due to arrive and canceled. Months later, our driveway does not "look like new" like he promised, but worse than ever. A separate company has surveyed the work and claimed he used the incorrect materials and tools to do the job. We were unable to reach him until after we disputed the charge with our credit card company, at which point he offered only to refund part of our money. The dispute was already in place, so we awaited the results. We were unsuccessful in our dispute because of a lack of a signed contract! To think, he was rewarded for his own shady business practices. We have attempted to reach out to him again to allow him to honor the partial refund he promised, but he has not returned any of our correspondence.

What the customer stated is not correct.  We were in contact with the customer prior to starting the job.  A deposit was collected and we were given the green light to get started.  We had a date to start but when an earlier appointment opened we were told we could start then. The job was completed and we were paid the balance (this is a practice that we have to ensure the customer is satisfied before we get paid)

On this job we used materials that we used on other resurfacing jobs and previously had great results. (Please see review on your site from Mrs. **************** this job we had a downpour of rain later that evening which may have affected the results.  The customer texted days after that he wanted all of his money back.  Our team offered to come back to go over the jobthe customer refused to allow us to address his concerns.  We have the text.  We then offered a refund minus the materialshe refused this as well.  Instead he left bad reviews and filed a claim with Square (through which he paid).  Our company provided Square with the text etc to show our good faith to satisfy this customer and he refusedthis is why the case was decided in our favor.

I hired ******* with Intl Concrete, LLC for stamped concrete patio in our backyard. We asked for removal of a 10x12 concrete patio and installation of a Brown/Tan stamped concrete patio of 11x30. We paid our deposit by check for half at $2300 on July 7th; the other half due at time of completion. The work was completed by July 14th. ******* had me sign a document for the services to be rendered on the 7th. I asked for a copy that day and again by text on July 20th. I never received a copy of the contract. On July 15th once the patio was dry we noticed several areas where the color was not consistent and multiple sharp edges that were dangerous to walk because it could cut the skin if you fell. We notified ******** on July 15th and he said would stop by. On the 19th after a no show we asked again and he said he would show on the 22nd. On the 22nd he rescheduled for the 23rd, then he rescheduled to the 27th. He eventually came out and said he was going to grind the edges, re-color and seal the patio. He called us on August 6th and said the patio needed to be totally ripped out and redone. He said it was beneath his standards and the concrete company that he used messed up the concrete solution. So he was going to redo it at his cost and this time mix the color into the concrete and avoid any sharp edges. Originally I was happy with him (gave him a great review on BBB) and glad he would stand by his work. He said he redo the patio in September or October and asked us for patience. On Sept 8th he said he was out of the country but was now back and was looking to do the job the last week in September. He had left some equipment at my house so on September 15th he asked if he could pick it up, and he would return in a few days. On September 27th he sent me a color sample for the new patio. That was the last time we have heard from *******. We contacted him on Oct 6th, 8th, 11th, and last was Oct 27th. No response and now his mailbox is full.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********,   The business contacted me and agreed to rip out and replace my patio at no additional cost to me in the Fall of 2023.  They did offer to do the work immediately but advised it's best done in warmer weather which is why we pushed the work to the Spring.  The business also provided me with a letter that commits them to this work.   So while I find that this plan to resolve is satisfactory, the inconvenience to me and my family cannot be understated.  We installed this patio last year for a huge event in our backyard.   I also have to wait until Spring 2023 when the work is done to determine if the quality is what they originally promised.  I won't know that until the work is done, but if it is done well, I am happy to provide positive feedback.

      Sincerely,

      ******** *****
