************** was hired to refinish existing hardwood floors, add new hardwoods to match the existing, remodel 2 stair cases, lay new tile and apply Bono high traffic finish all for about $15,000. I was left with mismatched hardwoods, uneven sanding, stains under the finish, popping tiles, no stair railings or spindles, noisy stair treads, stairs not to code, improper cuts of wood, shoddy work all around, can stains, damaged moldings, damaged drywall and an unsafe environment. He has admitted to doing poor work and told me I would have to go through his insurance for reimbursement or I would need to sue him. After filing a claim with his liability insurance, they denied it. ************** will not return calls. I have received quotes for over $20k just to fix the two stairs! I was told that now I would need to move all contents out of the ground floor of my house, store it and stay in a hotel for 2 weeks to replace mismatched flooring and refinish the hardwoods properly. There is no consumer protection over con men like this. I see on his company********* page that he is still in business. Eight months later, I still cannot unpack from my move. I do not have the money to repair this damage. He is a crook and I would like my money back.
