***************************, owner, came and gave an estimate to clean the house and driveway in the spring of 2022. I emphasized I did not want pressure used because the driveway was fairly new and I had heard that pressure could hurt our new siding. He assured me the surfaces would just be sprayed and then rinsed. He gave me no estimate paper. I assumed he would do the work, but he sent other men out to do the job. I looked out the door and saw the men using a big, round pressure washer machine with strong pressure almost touching the driveway. I went out and stopped them. They told me it would not hurt. I came inside and called the owner. He, too, assured me it would not hurt and that they cleaned driveways like that all the time. After the driveway dried, there was immediate damage. I had not been given any receipt. I did call the owner one day and explained he had damaged my year-old driveway and asked him to come look at it. He never came. If he did, he never let me know and I am here most all the time. He never reported back to me that he had looked at it. I called Barbares Concrete who put in the driveway to look at it, and he came right out. He said the pressure machines really ruin a driveway. He was very sad to see his hard work ruined. The driveway has continued to deteriorate with small chunks of concrete coming out. One picture shows the concrete behind the porch railing where they could not clean to show the concrete lines that used to be there. I took 2 other pictures to show how the pressure even scrubbed off the concrete lines that were once there. The concrete no longer has the bright, new look.
