    I purchased a vehicle 11/16/2023 from Autostar Dodge Jeep of Waynesville. I was told they would mail me the tag within 30 days and they gave me a temporary tag. When the tag didnt arrive, on 12/15 I called and they said they would mail me another temporary tag and it would be overnighted. I didnt receive it. I called back on 12/19 and they were going to request for another temp tag to be overnighted bc they don't know why it didnt mail out. I never received another temp tag and the first one they gave expired 12/16. I havent been able to drive the vehicle since 12/16 bc no tag and no registration. On 12/27, I spoke with the clerk for tags and title out of this office and was told that they didnt receive the title to the car from the customer that traded it in and they were hoping that he would bring it on 12/27. So I purchased a vehicle that the dealership doesnt have a title for and that is a issue. I have sold my other car with the impression I would be using this vehicle but I have not been able to due to continusly getting the runaround with the tag. Because of this, I have had to, and continuing to pay $30 per day for transportation since 12/16, paid a car payment of $627, and paying insurance of $230 for a vehicle I cant operate. This is wrong and it feels like the sale was illegal due to them not having all the docs to sell it. I want the car to be purchased back at the ***** Blue Book trade in value which is currently $40,378. I also want to be compensated back for the payment I made, the insurance I have paid and the $30 per day that I have been paying for transportation and still counting until this is resolved.

    Dont do business with this company they do not stand behind their work or their products.Weve bought several new vehicles from them over the las 7 years and the motor blew in one of our work trucks. It was 4k miles past warranty, and they said it needed a new diesel engine. They came back and quoted around $28,000 for the new engine, at the time the truck had a tow tune programmed, and the new engine would not have a warranty unless the truck was put back on factory settings, which we did two weeks after the engines installed, is blowing all the cooling out and overheating. We take it back. They replace some of the seals or hoses or something and they admit that its mechanical air, so they fix it. We drive for a few more weeks and it blows the manifold gaskets out of the engine. We take it back they fix it. They said it was mechanical air that the hand that the bolts had been hand tightened and not went over and re-tightened properly, so we leave again about two weeks after that the engine blows , we get it towed again and they say that they cannot cover any more work on the engine because the truck had a program on it now the program was taken off the truck when they put the new engine in and the truck was set to factory settings so they quit arguing about that. They call back a couple days later and said that since the truck had aftermarket exhaust on it, they could not replace the engine under the warranty and it would be $28,000 to have it replaced or they could trade us into a new vehicle with $28000 credit, which would be us taking another five-year loan on a $80,000 truck and we did not want to do that. So at this point, we contact an attorney and ask him some questions and they write a letter to Waynesville automotive group at Auto star will they have their attorney write a letter back they said they would give us $28,000 and that it was a standing offer! Why not just replace the engine then? So after paying $28,000 a rebuilt engine had been installed
