January 2019 we get a HVAC unit installed by*********** HVAC. We paid for a 10 year warranty for service and parts. He told my husband and I that we wouldn't have to worry for 10 years (My husband and I were told this was through unit manufacture and had we had in writing/contract). I call***** to do service agreement and he never returned calls. I found a new HVAC company because we found out HVAC unit was not installed up to code (Spent $3669 to fix with other issues added). He didn't properly seal the HVAC unit and had animals in crawl space. He didn't properly install unit and we had puddles in crawl space with frogs. New HVAC company charges me money to fix bad installment by***** Coats. January 2021 my house is 57 degrees downstairs with 2 small children where unit was installed. New company comes out at night to fix unit. Unit (we thought was under warranty). Company charges us $380 to pay for service even though contract with***** says it's 10 years of services and parts. I attempt to call***** several times and his voicemail is full and unable to reach. New HVAC company tells us that the unit was never registered (**** said it was with a 10 year warranty)! I reach out to a ******* distributor in ******* and speak to***** (************) and tells me that unit is under warranty because it was never registered. There is nothing they can do but call national branch at***************. National branch says same thing as local branch. The unit was never registered and that there is nothing they can do. They said I needed to reach out to***** to fix. However,***** doesn't answer his phone and can't reach via email! You will see attached photo of ******* warranty. Certain parts only have a 5 year warranty and service is not covered.***** lied and took advantage of a young family who needed to provide heat to young toddlers in 1/2019. My husband and I keep putting money into this unit that is supposed to be under warranty and not properly installed!
