I used Aire Serv of Coastal Carolina to service my **** unit at my beach house. I signed up for their service contract, and they charged me $15.96/month. In return, I receive benefits such as priority service if I have an issue, etc. One of those benefits is that they will also include the bi-annual service on my **** unit. On June 4th, my wife was contacted by our property manager, who stated that the guests staying at our property were having issues with the ***** Long story short, I ended up replacing the **** unit with a different company. However, before deciding to replace my unit, I called Aire Serv to understand the service history for my unit better. Based on my call, I came to find out that they have been charging me for over a year (my last service was June 2023) without calling me to schedule service for my unit. Between June 6th and June 17th, I called them at least five times requesting compensation (i.e., reimbursement for the last year of my paying the service contract as they did not fulfill their obligation). I had enjoyable conversations with customer service, who understood my concerns, but, unfortunately, they could not refund me as a refund needed to be authorized by their manager. The manager, whose name is ******, has yet to call me back, and every time I call customer service, there is a new excuse. For instance, when I called on Friday (June 14th), I was told she was on vacation and would be back in the office on Monday, June 17th, but I am still waiting to hear from her. I feel powerless now and hope you can help me resolve this matter. I have had a similar setup with **** companies regarding service; they always contact me to schedule service. I feel that Aire Serv is not a reputable company, and it bothers me to think of others they have taken advantage of with their so-called service contract, where they take peoples money and do not show up to do the work.
