      Timeline: 05/21/2024 - Found type of boat we were looking to purchase ******* 222XD). Obtained preapproval for financing 05/22/2024 - Found the boat that we were interested in purchasing at Wilmington Powersports in **. This is a 12 hour drive for us. A ****** Demo boat. SOLD AS A NEW BOAT that comes with 77 hours and a ****** boat cover for $74,500.00. Called and Spoke with ************************* regarding the purchase. Received "out the door" quote from ************************* of $70,000 for the Boat, $4,500 for the trailer and $2,580 for the extended warranty. We also decided to include the ****** "prepaid maintenance plan" for $3,810. Bringing our total to $80,890. 05/30/2024 - We left AL for the 12 hour drive to ** to pick up our boat 05/31/2024 - Arrived at Wilmington Powersports to pick up our boat. The cover was not on the boat as we were told that traveling that distance would not be good with the cover on the boat. Remember that this boat was presented and sold as a "NEW BOAT". Here is the list of items that we found AT the dealership 1 - Missing lug nut on the trailer wheel - Dealership fixed on site 2 - 3 different wheels physically on the trailer - Dealer stated "it is because it is a "Demo" - We reluctantly accepted 3 - No fire extinguisher on the boat - Dealer stated it doesn't come with one 4 - Back seats torn - Dealer stated it would be better to "warranty" this at our local dealership as they would have to keep the boat or ship the seats Found at home 1 - No garbage can - Dealer stated it does not come with that - research show it DOES come with the boat 2 - The cover is torn on the nose (BIG HOLE) and on the arms of the tower - Dealer will not replace offered to sell us one at dealer cost of $875. IT was advertised WITH a cover and nowhere in the description did it say it was damaged. 3 - The 10h service and 55h service was NOT DONE - Dealership says they sent a $500 check not received and we have no written doc saying it will not impact warranty

      I purchased a 6 year maintenance plan for a SeaDoo. I took the unit in for regular maintenance/winterization in the fall of 2021 and was told then my plan would be expiring in May/June of 2022. When I called to schedule my final "spring" maintenance, I was told the plan had been canceled by the NEW owner and it would be $400+ dollars for them to simply defog my jetski. This was not conveyed to me in the fall and I feel this is grossly WRONG. I was told that I am not the only one this new policy has impacted and I want the new owner exposed for his business practices. Please contact me and let me know what I can do to assist the BBB in any way. This is not right!
