      I recently received a letter and a phone call from a collection agency stating that they are attempting to collect ****** from patient care center. I was a brief patient with patient care center in 2018, and I gave them at that time 2 different *********. 1. was my ********** as a state employee at that time and the other was my military va ********* as a 100 percent disabled vet. it appears that patient care center never billed both which lead to this payment deliquesce. I have never received a message from patient care of a over due bill. They have sent it to a collection agency and have cause my credit score to drop . I have always painted over a 750 credit score and due to their negligence now It went down. I have emailed the billing department at patient care center over 4 times and they only responded 1 time asking for a copy of the collection letter which is sent. AS of today they still refuse to contact me and fix the issue they caused

      According to the collection agency, ******************** has been contacted multiple times since the account was received by the agency (see attachment ).  His insurance was filed and payment was received (see attachment); unfortunately, the insurance did not cover co-pay.  As you see by attachments, ******************** did pay two of his copays; however, even after receiving billing notices from our practice, he failed to pay the two remaining owed copays (initial statement mailed).    As for communication with the Practice, ******************** sent his first message on 2/26/2023 and the communication was responded to on 2/27/2023.  

      It is unfortunate that his account was sent to collection; however, with no response or payment in 2018; it was our only option to recoup payment.  ******************** would have received an EOB from his insurance company explaining what was paid and patient owed, in 2018.  

      (As a practice our last submission to collection was in January 2020; we did not submit accounts to collection during COVID.)

      I am rejecting this response because: The business has their ears closed because they refuse to listen to my complaint. they have a history of having a nasty attitude. I contacted them as soon as I received the letter from the collection agency for the first time. I have requested them to send me proof that they spoke to me to collect the payment . They have no proof that they called me or spoke to me . they failed to bill both of my insurance and refuse to make this right. clear negligence on their part
