I have tried multiple times to reach out attempting to speak to a manager regarding a previous booking issue from 07/16/2021-07/18/2021. I booked this hotel room on 06/12/2021 directly through Holiday Inn Express Wilmington - University Ctr and received a confirmation booking email #XXXXXXXX with the following details: $129.00/night (2 night stay + taxes $33.54 = $291.54) The issue that I'm trying to have rectified is that I was not charged the agreed upon/booked price of $291.54 and was charged $743.54 for the two night stay. I reached out to IHG (corporate) about the issue and they attempted to call the hotel directly, the customer service representative said that no one answered and that they would be forwarding information to the hotel and that the hotel would have to respond within 48 hours (Case#XXXXXXXXXXX). I never received any correspondence from Holiday Inn Express - Wilmington and also tried calling myself only to not have anyone answer from the hotel as well.Business response
