BEWARE and be very cautious when doing business with Debby Gomulka Designs. I operate a reputable wallpaper installation business here in ********** with many years of quality experience. Recently I have fallen victim to Debbys fraudulent and unethical ways of how she runs her design firm. I contracted a job with her to install a few rooms of wallpaper for one of her clients. Debby charged, and received, $7,560.62 from the client for my labor services. The cost of materials was not even included in this price. She was paid in full before I ever started this project. The proposal that I had sent to Debby for my labor charges, and due upon completion , was for a total of $3,400.00. She would not let me bill the client directly. In retrospect, I suppose that receiving a 50% deposit would have been better in this situation, but being an honest & reasonable businessman, I almost always work on good faith. It is now going on two and a half months that I have not received a single dime for the work that I did. I have invoiced her several times, sent emails and text messages with little to no response. The few times that I have received a reply, it was just another excuse and delay. She has told me five times that we will meet and square up, but then each time she does not show up for the scheduled appointment, only to ghost me again. There are several unfavorable reviews on this website which all follow her same pattern and deception. The manner in which Debby operates is unacceptable. It is unfortunate that we are not allowed to give zero stars on a review. She is not even deserving of the one star!

I did a large remodel with Debby. The finished product is extremely impressive. The designs are amazing. Her sense of vision and color with paint, fabrics and furnishings combine to make a beautiful well-balanced home. She kept the project moving smoothly eliminating stress on my part. Her integrity and professionalism were evident in all aspects. She had a good working relationship with the contractor making the remodel smooth and seamless. She also had a good relationship with the vendors and delivered all orders on time and correctly. I found her to be trustworthy and honest in all respects.

Working with Debby I am happy to state that I appreciate her as a consummate design professional in all aspects of interior design and project management. Whether it's in a restoration project or in her own textile designs, her creativity and integrity shines. I highly recommend her for your next design project, local or long-distance. After her inability to provide a credit application, we increased the required deposit to 50%. She misordered furniture for her client and used damaged as an invalid excuse to order different sized furniture. After reversing her credit card transaction for the deposit, we have turned this order over to a *******************

Failed to deliver products I paid for after months. Failed to pay monies to vendors after I paid her for goods. I received judgement in NHC court against her business.

This person scammed me out of thousands of dollars and never delivered furniture that I paid for in full. She also delivered the wrong pieces and tried to **** them off as the real pieces I actually ordered. This person is dishonest and deceitful. There are many others that have had a similar experience.
