      Background:Massey Services used to be my contracted pest control company which I pay $139 quarterly. A few months back we noticed mole tracks in our backyard so we called Massey Services to see if we are covered and we were. A day later a technician showed up and confirmed it was moles and told me to go to ********** or Lowes and buy something to get rid of them. At the time we didn't think anything of it, but as we were treating the yard realized shouldn't the company we pay to do this "be the ones doing this". During this time I called 1-888-2Massey to cancel our service and was told someone would reach out to us. All that has reached out to us is their debt collections for the $139 I refuse to pay due to them not providing a service. I am more then willing to pay the $139 as long as Massey Services pays to repair my now heavily damaged lawn and for a company to handle this mole issue.

      On 5/27 a salesman from Massey came to our house selling pest control services. He presented some laminated fliers with a treatment showing that they could drill a hole in the wall to treat inside the wall for active insect activity. This treatment, in particular, was attractive to us because we were having an ant issue that we felt were coming from inside the walls. He said this treatment wasn't available unless we signed up for the annual plan which we did. On 5/31 the technician came out and said that they didn't do any type of treatment inside the walls. On 6/3 I received a call from their customer service as a new customer to see if I was satisfied was the service. I informed them that I wasn't. They told me someone from the local office would bel calling me back. On. 6/8 I still hadn't received a call back so I called the local office and got a voicemail that said if I left a message someone would call me back *promptly*. On 6/9 after no one had yet to call me back, I called again and got the same voicemail. This time I left a message informing them that they had 25 hours to call me back or I would be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. On 6/10 I gave one last ditch effort and called their corporate office customer revive number in Orlando, FL. When I called that number i got a message that said they had a higher than normal call volume and that I could leave my number. I entered my number and then got, "Call back could not be established".

      Consumer Response /* (2000, 13, 2022/07/08) */ We were able to get in touch with the corporate office who contacted the regional manager. He called us back immediately and is refunding our money. Corporate office also tried to call the local office while I was on the phone and she also got their voicemail. Issue has now been resolved.

      We had a pest control contract it wasn't helping, it made it worst. The tech even told us we should cancel. He never told us we'd get in trouble. So we cancelled. The office got rude and started collections claiming we signed the contract even though the product never helped.

      When my wife and I signed up for Insight Pest Solutions, it was under a verbal agreement with a seller who came to our door. We in depth talked about the plan, and the sales representative repeatedly said "you can cancel at anytime free of charge". When I first reached out to insight to cancel, it was after 3 services they had come to our house. The reasoning of my cancellation, is the last time they came to my house I looked around and there was no difference. In fact slight worse on the exterior of our insulation. So I was fed up with all the bugs and took care of it myself. After I fixed our bug problem, spending hundreds on my own bug killing/repellent, I attempted to cancel. That customer service in itself was the most petty service I've ever experienced. The fact that all they did was try and sell us more agreements to get "better quality service and results" was unbelievable, but once we got to an individual who "could authorize" a cancellation would not help us when we did not except the cancellation fee. We felt it was wrongfully charged since we were told we could cancel at anytime free of charge. The customer service call center manager, deliberately sat on the phone in silence and refused to get us to someone who could help with our specific issue. Worst part of all of this, is multiple other people that our stationed here with me are facing the same issues. My friend was told they have a fee of over $400 when the sales representative also told them free cancellation at anytime. They are charging me roughly $280 just to cancel right now. When they sent me the supporting documents, I feel they wrongfully put my signature over undisclosed writing.

      Paid for quarterly services and my yard was not completed. Have been trying to get a refund since august and keep getting told they are looking into it. The day they supposedly came I still had ant hills and wasp nests.

We have verified by GPS records that the tech was at your home on the day in question to complete the service. At this time your account has been closed, we thank you for being the best part of Insight. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/11/05) */ My security cameras do not show anyone one in my yard during that day and my doorbell did not record anyone. There was also no postcard left on the door. The two wasp nests were still hanging on the porch and side door. I have not received any voice mails and all of my calls I have been told that the matter was still under investigation.
