We left our dog over the new years holiday. Upon pickup he smelled horrible. Not only was he filthy, his food container and bed were broken. and the new chew bone we left with him was magically missing. No pictures while we were away, just a hes doing great email after us asking. His bark is hoarse when we picked him up. Like he had been barking any comfort. We not be using them again. I called to see if they had found any of his missing things and left a voicemail (they are very hard to reach). They called me back shortly and informed me they may have found his bone and ordered us a new food container. No dog bed ($100). *** never picked up my dog with a hoarse bark from a kennel before. For the money Id like to know him and his things are being treated right and they weren't. The manager reached out about what happened to my dog. They said they fired an employee and have installed a bath policy for any dog staying over 3 due to my situation. No shot. She mentioned that he smelled of urine; but I did not say what he smelled like. They know they are leaving their dogs unattended for too long. When I brought up the hoarse bark being brushed over she said that it is a side-effect of boarding sometimes but in his 7 years he has never happened. She also mentioned the bed zipper broke and that they had to remove the cover to wash it. Bed ruined. They broke when they did this but will not own up, so they do not want to reimburse me. Not sure why the bed would need to be washed in the first place. I have asked more questions to no answer. I have emailed twice now. I stopped in to pick up the food container and was told they were ordering a new bone because of the situation. They did not return the old one they had found and I have no heard from them since. So no bone ($16). It has been over a week. Their offer was a free night of boarding and a bath, but I would never leave my dog at such a place ever again I asked to speak to the manager, ignored still.
