The shower install looks great and I would be completely happy with it except for one major issue. The shower floor pan pops and cracks when I move around on it. Apparently when the installer cut out the subfloor around the shower drain he cut out too much material. This causes a lack of support for the fiberglass shower pan. I had the shower installed in the fall and first tried to get someone come and look at the problem in the spring. This was during the COVID pandemic and I couldn't get ahold of anyone. Finally after months of trying to get someone to come out to fix the problem they sent the same person who installed the shower. He tinkered around the drain hole in the pan but this did nothing to help. He finally told me that I would have to learn to live with it. That it would not cause any permanent damage to the floor pan. In my opinion when the installer cut out around the drain to move it under the floor pan drain hole he cut away too much sub floor. The only solution is 1) take the shower apart and remove the pan to repair the sub floor. or 2) since the shower is upstairs cut away a piece of ceiling in the room below and add support to the bottom of the shower pan. I also added a picture of the linoleum that the installer cut away to add the pan. As you can see he cut away too much, at least 1". This allowed water from the shower to leak past the door when it wasn't closed all the way onto the exposed sub floor.Business response

Re-Bath Wilson has scheduled a return visit to Mr. **********'s home on 10/24/22 to further assess/evaluate the issues described in his message. Re-Bath Wilson will be submitting this as a warranty claim and will fully resolve this issue as quickly as possible by either repairing the existing shower system or fully replacing the shower system if needed.Customer response
