I purchased a transmission for my truck from this company in February 2024. 1-3 days after the purchase of Order total:$4,421.79 USD was made via PayPal credit I received a phone call stating that an additional $2800 was due. There was not enough credit available in PayPal credit to make that transaction so my **** credit card was used for only the core charge payment. About 5 weeks after the core transmission was received back to the company requesting (BD Diesel) it I called to check what the issue was with my return and was stated to me they had already credited the money back. I called Down East Offroad to confirm they had the credit and they said no they dont have it yet and would email BD Diesel about it. Waited for 2 days for a response from them and nothing ever took place. Called back to BD Diesel where the credit was originally sent from and they got involved to expedite the process. When I finally received my $2558.79 credit it was issued to the wrong account which was PayPal credit. Now Im being told theres nothing that can be done to issue it to the correct account which is my **** credit card. The business owner said to correct that it will look like fraud and create a problem for his business. This was the most crucial issue with this business but there was one other problem with them. My **** credit card was double charged the $2800 totaling $5600. Luckily I saw that and contacted them to reverse it after several days of having my card at *** limit due to their mistake. Today I spoke with the owner to resolve this issue with other options and he was very rude and has been ignoring my text and calls for the past 2 days. If he wasnt rude and would just correct his mistake then I would not be filing this report.
