On Monday 9/26/2022 I bought a ******* for an oil change at the Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Robinhood Rd. I have done this before with great results. I went over and the gentleman Solomon told me I could get an upgraded oil change for just $10 more. He also told me I needed new windshield wipers so I asked how much. He said that they were $20 and they were also 25% off, so I agreed. Got my service done and left. On Tuesday evening, I checked my bank account and saw the charge and was shocked. I pulled my invoice and realized that both wipers were over $20 even after the discount and I couldn’t square it with the services and the *******. So I decided to stop back by after work on Wednesday to inquire and I did. The gentleman I spoke to agreed that the bill didn’t add up, and apologized. He said I should definitely come back Thursday to see Solomon to figure out what he did and ask for a refund on the wipers, so I did. And that’s where the true issue began. I approached him and asked about the discrepancies. He very quickly started raising his voice and denying what he said. When I told him I wanted a refund he told me to go get the wipers off of my car. The other employees including the gentleman I had spoken to on Wednesday, were laughing and carrying on at my expense. I told Solomon I would not take them off and he demanded that I do so. He snatched the paper out of my hands, and then yelled across the garage for someone to “go get those wipers off her car!” One host told me I should have said something the day of. When I said I had come back in within two days of figuring out there were discrepancies, there was no response. Finally, after awhile I was asked to step into the office where the refund was processed with a lady on the phone and I was dismissed. So I left with no windshield wipers at all. Hurricane Ian hits this very evening so I went directly to ********. Absolutely infuriating!
