Had a very bad experience and was treated unprofessionally by owner. I decided to support a local business and they were rated very highly. So called this company the beginning of February and told him I was purchasing a house in Winston Salem and that I needed assistance in moving my items from Conover to Winston Salem. There was no paperwork nothing emailed to me. I just thought one of the employees would bring it when they came. So they arrived on Feb 7th in a small truck and it was not big enough to hold all of our furniture and stuff. They had to make 2 trips and charged me another 500 extra cause they had to make another trip. None of my furniture was wrapped, padded or protected. They stacked a mini fridge on top of my dresser and it thawed on my dresser, nicked my dining room table and just slung my stuff into the storage building. We have 2 mattresses that are damaged cause they weren’t protected. When I told the owner Malik that It came unexpected and would have to give him the additional 500in the morning he became rude. Wouldn’t even listen to what I was saying even threatened to take legal action. Even when it was paid Malik would not answer my phone calls or even tell me how I could go about getting the keys from him to the storage unit. As proof I do have pictures if my furniture just slung into the storage unit unprotected. I have never experienced anything like this in my life or paid so much to have my furniture damaged and dented. It was so bad my 18 year old daughter called to tell the owner how unprofessional he was on handling this situation and how was it our fault that he didn’t provide the appropriate moving truck and why are we being charged for two trips. I hope this helps other families out cause no one deserves to be treated that way or the stress even!
