This office is closed. The dentist's license has been revoked by the ** ********************** Board as of 5/1/24 for incompetence and substandard patient records, plus his sedation permit had expired but he continued to sedate patients. I paid for multiple extractions, upper and lower implants, as well as a fixed bridge denture (upper) and a screw-in denture (lower) on 4/17/24. I believe they knew licensing was about to be revoked when they accepted my payment; he had been under investigation by the Dental Board well in advance of my initial visit. I received NOTHING from this office but an x-ray and digital impressions. The dentist never touched me physically except to shake my hand at the initial consultation. I was told to call back for a status in 2 weeks after impressions were taken. I did that, and they said things were nearly finished, and to call back in two days. No one ever answered the phone again, but I left several voice messages.. A new greeting says the office is under new management and provides the phone number of a dentist in **********, When called, that office says they are not affiliated with the office I paid, and will handle only emergencies or new patients. Everyone at Dental Centers of the Carolinas was very polite, but they have taken a significant amount of money from me and rendered NO services. I am not the only one, either - I am in touch with former patients who have work that was done incorrectly by this office, and others who have received no services, like me. The Attorney General says they can't do anything because the business is now closed. The Dental Board says they can do nothing because the dentist's license has been revoked. This is a nightmare, but I am grateful that he never touched me - Other patients had work done incorrectly. The dental license was revoked for incompetence, substandard patient records, and expired sedation permit while sedation continued. At best, this is fraud. At worst, this is a criminal offense..
