      HANDS DOWN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I am aware of their extreme cancellation policies, but that is not even where my complaint lies. It is with the personnel and how they handle disputes or upset customer regarding their cancellation policies. Judgement free, I think not!! Condescending at it's best.******** Creek Location

      Good afternoon!,This account has an outstanding balance preventing cancellation as policy requires an account to be in good standing. After review, the membership is cancelled. The balance will remain on the inactive membership and may cause issues if a membership is sought out in the future.

      Planet Fitness on ******************* would be a great place to visit and train. It's well kept and in a great area. The problem is that customers there don't follow protocols and the staff doesn't seem to care. There is a 30-minute workout section where the protocols (clearly stated on the sign at the entrance) are that people are to switch stations on the RED light. This is apparently routinely violated. Last night, I was there (following protocol) as MULTIPLE people were "camping out" on the machines, sitting / resting through multiple cycles. The people who are there to get a workout and are following the rules shouldn't have to suffer due to the people who DON'T. This would be easily remedied if staff would monitor the area and get people moving along who don't follow protocol.

      Tried to cancel my membership months ago. They will not cancel because i have a balance because i can no longer afford to continue member and they refused to stop drafting my account after i asked them to stop and they continued keep my account in over draft fees because i cannot not afford it and i have over draft fees every month because they will not stop.

      Would not recommend this location. I was discriminated against at this location. Banned due to falsehoods by a racist staff member, then, banned from other locations as a retaliation for contacting legal representation. Actually, the whole franchise is questionable due to their unprofessional behavior.

      I cancelled my (in good standing) membership on July 23, 2022 at approx 5:11pm, in person. I was given a paper for this cancellation by a female employee; which I discarded because I live in an RV and if I keep papers I will be living in piles. I was under the impression that the employee knew how to do their job. On my billing date, I again got billed my monthly fee. When I called up and tried to talk to the owners, the manager, etc. I was told that the female on the phone was the only manager, I was not allowed to talk to anyone above her, and she would cancel my account as a 'courtesy' but refused to refund my money their company fraudulently took out of my bank account. Its pretty awful that people are stonewalled by terrible store leadership. It is pretty shady that this franchise wants to just steal money from their clients. Thankfully I have an amazing bank that got involved.

We're sorry to see you go. Our manager, Jessie, does take your inquiry and concern very seriously. At the time of your phone call(this month), our draft was already pending with our billing processor, so the best way to avoid being billed is to contact your bank, which you've mentioned you've done. I see that they've done their part so there are no funds to return back to you. Again, I'm sorry we didn't meet the expectations on your cancellation event or the follow up with Jessie.

      I went in to Thomasville planet fitness to cancel my membership in person SINCE THATS THE REQUIREMENT AND THEY SAID I HAVE TO PAY THE FEES THEY HAVE TRIED TO CHARGE MY CARD FOR THE LAST YEAR OR SO BEFORE CANCELLONG MY MEMBERSHIP! I WANT MY MEBERSHIP CANCELLED NOW!

After looking through your account, the information given to you in person, or over the phone, was accurate. Planet Fitness does require all active memberships to be in good standing before we allow members to cancel. With that being said, I have had the General Manager of facility perform a courtesy cancel on the account, and again, we're sorry for the negative experience.       reynolda Rd planet fitness in Winston Salem NC says their tanning bulbs were just replaced before Xmas an there is no way when ive not tanned in a year an have tanned 3 times in 15 minute beds and trying a different one each time and I dont even feel a tingle or turn pinkish an I should have burned laying that long that soon! I wish they would replace the bulbs when needed like i was told they were.

      Our tanning beds are monitored and the hours (usage) on each bed is tracked so that the bulbs can be replaced per manufacturer's recommendations. Not every bed has the bulbs replaced at the same time since we track them all individually. However, they are replaced when they get close to the recommended usage to be replaced.
