We had our a/c and furnace put in on 11/15/2015 , everything was fine, but now the first of Aug our a/stopped we called logan and they paid it would $199 to come out so we waited until the next morning. The guy came out and said it was some kind of a little thing that under warranty . It took him literally 2 minutes to change, so we paid $109 for trip charge and then another $186 for labor. Literally ten minutes after he left no a/c so I called them back and I told them I was not paying another trip charge. So he comes later that afternoon and told us oh it's the compressor motor that's what I thought it was , my comment was then why didn't he change it the first time ?? Well that was under warranty as well but the labor again was $250. So he fixed and the fan sounds like it's about to fly out of that unit . So again yesterday no a/c again, so I call them and asked them to please send someone else if this can't fix it . So the same guy comes out and he tells us it's the kind of switch that's under warranty and we thought that's good but it's not. It's gonna $1350 for labor that's just for labor we thought oh my gosh are you kidding?? He said he figures that it running while the motor was going out is what caused the switch to go out , say what we never ran that a/c when the fan stopped we shut it off and dealt with the 95 degree heat until they came out to fix it. So he says he did a bypass of that switch so we would have a/c. Now we're wondering what's that gonna ruin if it's left on that bypass too long . And on top of that I haven't a receipt for $79 i paid or anything that says what's wrong with the unit so I can get a second opinion. This very upsetting.

I have a unit not even 4 years old and the compressor went out on it. Logan installed it for me (it's a Trane). I was told that the part was under warranty, but labor was not AND that I would need new lines run as well as new coolant put in and that MIGHT be the problem. I did further research and found ***** has had class action lawsuits against them. Anyway - I was told that Logan would have the part in and would do the work on 06/21/2024 between 2 and 5. The day before I was alerted that they would be there at 9. I got a call at 8:50am saying the part wasn't in yet and they would have to reschedule and would let me know when they found out a new delivery date. I called them twice today (06/25/2024). The first time I was told that they did not know the new delivery date and had no idea how to know this. The second time I called I was told that the part was still being manufactured????!!!!!?????? Not once did they offer me any cooling for my home as a customer. I demanded they, at this point, replace the whole unit as not knowing and me being lied to - is VERY UNACCEPTABLE. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE at this point. Very unprofessional to lie to a customer.

I contacted Logan heating and air for an issue with my heat pump. A technision came out and diagnosed the issue. Replaced a part, the unit still didnt work. Then was advised that I needed a new compressor. He recommended replacing the whole unit, in excess of $9000.- He then told me a compressor replacement was upwards of $4654.- I advised him it was under warranty, he said it wasnt. I paid him for the service call, electing to sort a few things out before moving forward (also, after the fact found out the part he replaced cost roughly $25.- Logan charged me $169.- for the part alone. The installer I ended up using told me most service companies typically double the price of the part). On top of this, after the tech left, I found several screws were missing out of the service doors, both from the inside furnace unit, and the outside compressor/heat-pump unit. Also the part he replaced was not secured properly. I replaced the missing screws at my own cost. I then called the manufacturer, Trane, who informed me that the unit WAS indeed still under warranty. I decided to get a second opinion. The new service company advised me the compressor replacement would be less than of Logans estimate (upwards of $3300.-), so obviously I elected to go with them. I called Logan back to ask for reimbursement for the part they did replace, since it WAS still under warranty. After multiple phone calls, they said theyd reimburse me $24.- for the warrantied part, which they did, and that the remaining cost was installation cost for the part. The contractor I ended up hiring also told me that most service companies will typically double the price of the part ( the initial part that Logan replaced, $24.-), unlike Logan did. Which I understand, theyre in the business of making money, but thats a far fetch from $169.- Buyer beware. I for one will steer clear of this company.

I am an 86-year old woman, and on 6/27/23 I reported a problem with my A/C (originally installed by Logan under 10-yr warranty in July 2019). On 6/28 a repairman came. Diagnosis indicated a leak detection was needed and would be scheduled for a later date. Office called me to schedule the leak detection for 7/3. That service indicated a new coil was needed, which would be ordered the following Wed. since they were closed on July 4. They would let me know when the coil came in and schedule installation. The following week on Thurs. the coil arrived, and they scheduled repair installation for the following Mon. 7/17. Only one man showed up with the coil which he was unable to install due to its location in the attic. It would require 2 men to complete the installation. He was unable to get anyone on the phone to report the problem. After he left, I phoned Logan's office to explain what had happened and ask why 2 men hadn't been sent. I was told they would have to get with a tech to figure out when they could install the coil. Each visit required that I pay for service rendered that day, even though the repairs had not been completed. Tomorrow will mark three weeks of 90-degree heat since this process began, and I am still waiting for my AC to be repaired.

Logan installed a new furnace today and did an excellent job. They were timely, efficient and courteous. They did a good job and cleaned up the area afterward. I would recommend them to service your home for ac or furnace.
