Samantha ****** and her husband (“Amazing Construction Restored” or “Amazing Home Management”) built a fence for us in August of this year 2022. It’s already fallen down (December 2022). We have attempted to contact them multiple times to fix it and they claim that even though we paid them ($5800) much more than their quoted price, we somehow underpaid them. They also claim that the tree to the right would grow roots into the fence and become a problem, but as you can see the area next to the tree is in tact. This fence did not even last four months because they did not dig the fence post holes deep enough. They also poorly installed the gate with missing supports and then did not install the latch on the other gate. They claim they are licensed and insured but I highly doubt that’s true. I do not recommend you hire them for ANY work at your home. Scammers.Customer response

As part of a home renovation, I was looking for someone to help with drywall mudding and taping in May 2022. I posted in my neighborhood ******** group where Amazing Construction Restored (now going by Amazing Home Management) commented that they could do the work. After exchanging a phone call and pictures of the space, Samantha said her husband would take the job and provided me a quote (~$1000 including materials). In order to schedule, I needed to pay a $400 deposit for materials. After this, they were supposed to come the following week. There were over four attempts to reschedule in which the business did not show up citing issues with the truck, husband having a tick infection, getting behind, assuring they would come one evening after we came home early to meet them, etc. I had to do the lionshare of the communication to try to understand when I could expect them. After over a week of this, we decided to go a different direction and cancelled, asking for our deposit back as no materials were bought. I was told that the cancellation was purposeful and we were "taking money out of her children's mouths" and they would only refund $300 but she would not be able to return the money via Venmo (which is how I paid) because she could not log in. She stated she had a friend who could do it but was sick. I continually followed up asking for my refund and she is no longer answering my communications. When this business comments in the ******** group that they can do certain jobs, I comment strongly recommending that individuals do not work with them. In this, I have found at least one other individual who has been stood up by this company multiple times.Customer response
