      **************** online is ridiculously bad. Terrible experience I never leave reviews but this one really forced my hand straight up hanged up on me and gave me the worst possible attitude , recommend not getting involve with them at any costs!

      My previous insurance carrier, Esurance was about out by Direct Auto Insurance. I was given the "option" to continue coverage with Direct Auto, which I declined. Even though I did not consent to services, did not complete any paperwork (paper or digital) authorizing services or charges, I was still charged by them. When I called them to dispute charge I asked how they were able to charge me when I never submitted paperwork or authorization to charge my account. The agent said ******** transferred all information to them. The only saving ***** is that the customer service agent was helpful and closed the account and said they will issue a check for a refund. I will report back in case they do not refund the unauthorized charge.

      I recently open a claim #*********** because of my car being hit while parked ,and like ***** told me if I don't have the other parties information my claim would be denied and shortly after that call I received another call saying my claim was being denied unless I can provided footage.and then he says to just wait on a letter in the mail, so instead of me waiting I get to searching and what do I see a list of complaints on this company all of them correlate with not wanting to pay out anything, charging us high prices to fully cover our carss with insurance thinking we can sleep in peace or leave or car parked anywhere and if anything goes wrong our insurance company will handle it . Not national general insurance, they're just money sucking machines

      Nothing but lies and run around when told you're getting a refund and it was already mailed then never showed up in the mail. Was told it was lost in the mail to wait 2 more weeks. Waited and still no check. I called back and was told it was at the post office because the post office holds stuff like that for security. Went to PO and it wasn't there, the clerk told me they don't hold mail like that. Called agent back and was told that I don't get a refund because I purchased a new policy elsewhere the same day. They also lied about my coverage when I bought their policy saying it was full coverage when it only had compensation coverage and nothing else. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT BBB APROVED!!!!!!!!

      Direct Auto I Durante not a trustworthy insurance company they quote a price and charge you for mistakes you did not make and take your money and give you false statements about you made an error on your account. They tell you you made the correction which you are stuck with additional feel and cancel your insurance. I purchased the insurance on June 18 over the phone and paid for the amount of the insurance and priority I owe a fee due to a correction made by the *** stated I have the wrong Vin number which it was not true. I called to confirm the fee and they quote me with a different amount I purchased the insurance and and cancel my insurance to be re-instated and pay additional amount. They lied about I called in to make a change on my insurance policy and you are being transferred to different representatives and they telling me I owe a balance and which it a scam.

      INTEGON NATIONAL INS COMPANY SADDLEBROOK ARE LIARS AND SCAMMERS CANCELLED MY POLICY BECAUSE, MY MONEY ORDER WAS LOST FUNNY WEEKS LATER THEY ALL MAILED THE MONEY ORDER BACK TO ME ADAMAS DEMANDED I PAY ANOTHER DOWN PAYMENT $631 YES ************************* IS STEALING CUSTOMERS MONEY I FILED CHARGES WITH THE ***** INTEGON LIED OH HER POLICY WASN'T CANCELLED I HAVE THE LETTER AND RECIEPT FROM THE SECOND MONEY ORDER WANT MY MONEY BACK THEY ALL ARE SCAMMERS AND LIARS. *********************

      After being with National General for 16 years, NEVER had to file a claim. They (National General) were going to charge me a small fee of $63.00 to cancel, for 10 days of coverage, Now they want $257.00 for 10 days of coverage, was told I would be turned over to collections if not paid. Thats extortion folks! They kept increasing my policy amount by 20% or more on each renewal date. DONT use this Company, they will rip you off. I asked them how they justify the policy increase, I was told because we can, , they threatened to turn me in to my local DMV for lack of insurance coverage, although I was already insured by another insurance company at that time. I have filed a complaint with my state insurance commissioner. This is an Allstate company .

      After a year of no accidents and no claims, my insurance went from $180 to $218 thats a fifty $ increase without notice and were told that the accidents in my area went up with is bull.

      I had National General for 6 yrsi found cheaper insurance through progressive. When I canceled NG they charged me with a cancelation fee and charged me with the rest of my contract balance and is treating to put it on my credit. They have no loyalty to their long time customers.

      I am ONLY giving a 1 star because of a man who helped me set up my policy a year ago and he is the only help the company has that is helpful. His name is *****. As an individual he would get 5 stars from me but the company over all gets 1 (also because you cannot give 0 stars). I had a policy for a year. Never late on payments, no claims until someone hit my car at my job, I walked out to see the damage. I report this with NG insurance. The police would not make a report since I was on private property, and I have proof of that call log too although ** asked me two times why the police did not come out. After 2 people handling my claim and 2 weeks after I made the claim, NG denies my claim and says the adjuster who only adjusted through pictures NOT in person, says it looks like I hit something, not someone hitting me, although I have proof, I was at work all day that day, not leaving and was at work 10 hours that day. My car was also not drivable after so there is not a way, I could have hit something and still drove to work afterwards. With my clean driving record and paying $827. a month (with a teenage son on my policy) this is absolutely WRONG, and I canceled them and moved to another company.
