My child visited her regular pediatrician in January of 2023 and was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. She has a history of these so we did the usual script for an albuterol refill, because she already owns the equipment (spacer, inhaler chamber) as she has a history of asthma. Months later I get an invoice from this random outfit for 25 dollars which they say was for respiratory services they delivered. When I called them I got a recorded message about breast pumps. Knowing this was not anything we had received, I called the pediatricians office for an explanation. The pediatrician said nobody outside her regular provider saw my daughter nor provided any service, and that I had already fully paid for this visit. Flash forward to over a year later, I have had to repeatedly explain this to neb doctors. My point every single time is 1) they did not provide any services to my kid; and 2) I don't owe them a dime, and 3) i can prove it with receipts from the insurance company and the doctors billing office. This doesn't even appear to be health care providers, it is a telemarketing firm based on their operations and billing set up. Anyway, I continue to get these garbled automatic telemarketing calls with demands for money and bills with zero proof of what and why I should be paying them.I just reported them to our health care commission (just look up health care fraud and your state name and you can do the same) as their MO appears to be obtaining people's health care information and sending out confusingly worded demands for money with no information about how and why, just a poorly laid out photo of someone smiling on the phone with their credit card and big text about how easy it is pay them. The whole thing is sketchy.Customer response

My son was required to purchase a nebulizer for breathing treatments in July 2022. The doctor's office provided me with the nebulizer the same day my son was seen and I received a bill from NEB Doctors of NC about a month later. I paid that bill within 30 days of receipt (on Sept. 12, 2022). I have no contact from NEB Doctors of NC in over a year, yet today I received a letter from a collections agency attempting to collect payment on the same amount paid to NEB Doctors A YEAR AGO. I am absolutely outraged that the burden of time and resolution now falls on the consumer when it was paid almost a year ago. I want the collections removed/cancelled immediately and someone needs to accept ownership for the irresponsible bookkeeping being done at this company. This is a complete falsification of information and my credit should not be damaged by this company's inability to apply payments. A copy of the receipt showing payment from Sept 2022 is attached along with a copy of the letter from the collections agency.
