I called American Home Shield several times in 2022 to inquire about my HVAC system. They dispatched three different companies to my house saying they fixed the issue. I had to pay $135 out of pocket each time a different company came my home or I had to submit a claim to them. I argued to American Home ******'s that my unit was not fixed. Multiple times they dispatched ***** Heating and Cooling *** to repair a leak and evaporator coil. After they claimed they fixed the evaporator coil, I was required to pay them $720 to refill my refrigerant. I told ***** and American Home Shield that it was still not fixed. I made the decision to cancel my contract with American Home Shield because there were so many problems between the two companies. I wanted to terminate my contract in August 2022, but they informed me I had to wait until the fifth of November to do so. I actually did it. I explained that they didn't put customers first and I had to go about two years complaining about the same unit to them when they asked me why I wanted to discontinue my contract. I changed to ******************** in November, but I had to wait until I was qualified to submit a claim for my unit and other things. ******************** dispatched another company to my house today, 4/18/23, to take a look at the same unit because I'm still experiencing problems with it and they found that the problem wasn't ever resolved. My refrigerant is still leaking and is currently reading -10. After American Home Shield paid ***** Heating and Cooling for their labor and parts, I had to pay them $720 out of pocket to refill the system. I want my appliance properly fixed, and I want my money refunded. I have complained to them about this particular issue so many times, yet it has never been fixed. We endured months and days due to the repairs they allegedly completed. My home is really hot on some days, both inside and out. I didn't have the money, but I felt like they fixed my unit and did the right thing.
