8/11/23 I purchased a vehicle from them for ******. When I got it home I saw that the tires had a plug in the sidewall and found that the passenger seat belt does not latch into place so essentially does not have a passenger seat belt. When I spoke with them, they are refusing to correct the unsafe tires that were technically not legal for them to let me drive on. It was completely unsafe to my have my children in the new vehicle. I know they saw the plug in the sidewall because they polished over it.Business response

Good afternoon, *****,
My name is ******* the General Manager of Chevrolet of ******.
I am slightly confused about this complaint. Going through the history of the vehicle it looks like we already fixed a seat belt concern, and a brake concern, after the vehicle was sold. Is there something we have not corrected yet? I would like to work with you and make sure you are happy.
Can you email or call me at your earliest convenience?

January 20th 2022 I dropped my vehicle off at the auto service department for a scheduled appointment due to a check engine light on. During the inspection the mechanic found a few issues that needed to be fixed. The main issue being my fuel injectors. I gave the go ahead to fix issues. I had to pick my vehicle up after hours. I let my car warm up for less than 10 minutes while I waited in a friends car. When my car was warmed up I got in and immediately knew something was wrong. The odor of gasoline was so strong. I shut my vehicle off and called a friend. Minutes later friend arrives and inspects vehicle. He noticed that gasoline was spraying out from injector 3. I left my vehicle there and sent a message of the issue. No response. I drop my keys off the next morning and Im trying to express my concerns and the man cuts me off twice. So I leave. Later my friend picks up the vehicle. Here are my concerns. I was charged approximately $1200 for parts and labor. My paperwork states specifically that I paid for fuel injector seal kits. They used my old seals. The car was driven for 3 miles after it was dropped off there and it was still presented as fixed when gas was spraying underneath the hood. I have contacted the agency that owns Kramers Chevrolet. They have tried to call me back but I work multiple jobs so I asked to communicate by email and have received no other contact from them. I feel like the services I paid for are inadequate. I feel that this business was taking advantage of me. I feel scammed.Business response

On January 20th the vehicle was dropped off. The vehicle was diagnosed as a bad fuel injector. The technician ordered one new fuel injector and a injector reseal kit. He replaced the fuel injector with the new that came with new orings he also replaced the remaining 5 injector orings with the reseal kit. He then verified the misfire was gone. A different Technician then repaired the brakes and parked the vehicle. When the customer came to pick up the vehicle they noticed a fuel smell. ******************* was the writer and immediately brought the vehicle back in. The technician notice that the orings on the new injector were leaking. He had one set left from the reseal kit. He replaced those orings on the new injector. Which solved the leak. The problem stemmed from the orings on the new injector that did not seal. The customer was not charged for the second repair. We explained this to customer. She states she doesn't feel we did any of the work, which is entirely untrue. We are sorry for the inconvenience and would never have returned the vehicle if we would have known it did not seal. The new injector ornings were the cause and we did our best to correct this as soon as we possibly could.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: when I realized there was a gas leak after ai paid for the services my friend and I inspected the issue (while we were at Kramers Chevrolet) and he pointed out the new orings and then the ones that were not new which I was charged for. So that statement of them all being replaced is incorrect. They were replaced the next day. Next issue is that nobody from Kramers explained to me what happened. They never once communicated the issues with me the 2nd time my vehicle was in their shop so again that statement is false. Also I never said they didnt do any of the work only that they did an inadequate job.
