I booked these movers and paid a deposit of more than $400. They confirmed my move via email the day before. The day of the move, no one shows up, no one at the company contacts me, no one answers the phone, no one answers my voicemails. This company is a fraud.Business response

Hello Ashley,
I hope this email finds you well. This in response to the complaint of *********************** regarding Billing or Collection Issues for her move scheduled on May 28th, 2022. I would like to dispute the accusations made in her complaint.
She received the entire deposit for her move back, and we can provide you with that information. We did in fact confirm her move the day before via automated email as we do all customers, however one of our movers could not make it in the morning of her move. We were in the process of getting another mover, and had the driver ready to go who was also waiting to hear back from another mover.
I was also notified of the situation immediately and can provide text message screenshots as proof of me stating we cannot cancel as sometimes it takes a while to find a replacement mover, especially on a Saturday morning. We had no intent of not doing the job that day. **** had also been notified of this. However, before 11am that morning, she decided to cancel before we could start her move. She did not want to reschedule. That is the full story.
My assumption is that she didnt think anyone was going to show up hence causing the cancellation. I am willing to make things right and offer her a free move next time she is need of moving services as I fully understand the inconvenience of movers not arriving on time and feeling the need to cancel because of that.
