    I was originally seen by Dr. ****** in July of 2021 and again in September of 2021. He was an amazing Dr. Very patient, kind and really took the time to listen. I left his office from both visits feeling extremely hopeful. After my September 2021 visit I was scheduled to return in January, 2022. I needed to reschedule that January visit, so I called the office and they informed me I would have to wait until April, 2022. (proves how great of a provider he is). My appointment was set for April, 2022. On 1/28/22 I receive a phone call from the Bellevue Family Practice with a lady blatantly stating that I have a balance, if I don't pay it I will be sent to collections and my service will be cancelled. I said that I was unaware of any balance and mentioned I thought I had made a payment. She cut me off and said the same thing as before, adding my address to confirm that is where the statements were being sent. I confirmed my address but said again I didn't think I even had a balance and thought I made a payment. In September nobody mentioned this, when I called to reschedule my appointment, nobody mentioned this. I asked her what my balance was. She told me and I said ok I can make a payment today, just not the full amount. She immediately replied that if I didn't pay the balance in full today I would be sent to collections and my appointment would be cancelled. After our conversation, I called back and left a message for someone else to please call me to discuss my balance so I could get it paid and keep my appointment. Never received a call back. I called the next week and talked to a different lady who explained how much I owed, what it was for and then proceeded to tell me that I was sent to collections and that I would have to pay the collection agency before I could be scheduled again. I discussed with the second lady how unprofessional the first call was and how this was an unfortunate circumstance that I would not be returning if this is how they conduct business

    My review is EXACTLY what Kieth H. stated last month on this site. Exactly! My wife and I love Carmen. He's been wonderful and the only reason we've stayed this long. (My wife has been coming to this office eversince she was a child.) This afternoon I was calling to see why the perscription my wife picked up at the pharmacy wasn't the perscription I called this office for three days ago to have filled. I saw that they close at 4:30 pm. It was 4:20 pm so I called, I just needed to know if they called in the perscription and I needed to go back to the pharmacy to get it straightened out there. The gal that answered the phone said, "Oh, its too late in the day." I said, "What time do you close?" She said, "4:30." I said, "its 4:25!" I asked to talk to the office manager. Guess what the gal on the phone said? "She's left for the day." I had a conversation with the office manager three, four, five months ago. Told her this very same thing. We love Carmen, but the office help is terrible and has been for time now. Maybe business is too good. They need to thin out their patients. I don't know, but If I get a chance to talk to Carmen, I'll let him know that he is losing buisiness. He won't have any patients if this office doesn't do something about its incompetent, rude help. Oh, and the gal screamed over me when I was explaining my frustration with them and said, "I'm going to tell Carmen you're cursing!" I said, "thats fine, My name is Mike C. and my birthdate is 00/00/0000." I doubt she even wrote it down.

    After reviewing all the notes in our EMR system regarding this interaction with Mr. ********, we found that he was to have four prescriptions called in the day of his appointment. Only three were called in as the fourth had been called in the month before (June 5th) with three refills which would give him a 120 day supply to last him into October, 2023. If the pharmacy did not refill this prescription for whatever reason, that is a pharmacy issue, not a clinic issue. ******'s hours are from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm so he could not be consulted about this prescription as it was after he left for the day. We at Bellevue Family Practice strive to bring the best experience to our patients with their healthcare needs and their relationship with our staff. We have been a successful family practice clinic for nearly 40 years and our providers have 90+ years of combined experience. We value our patients and always want them to feel good about their visit here, unfortunately, some things are out of our control. We are never okay with our patients verbally abusing our staff or using obscenities/foul language towards them - this can be very intimating to the young ladies that work in triage. I will have the clinical manager reach out to Mr. ******** to see if he would like to submit a request to have his records released to another provider.
